| There are fifteen cards in the set of the Tottenham Hotspur 1908-1909 squad. This was part of the company’s 1908 “Prominent Footballers” series (400 cards in all). These from Terry’s collection and are different to the reproduction set of the previous season, which did not have the reverse side printed on them.Taddy & Co. were based in Fenchurch Street, London and printed series of cards that were included with their snuff, tobacco and cigarette products. The brands of some of their products can be seen advertised on the reverse of the cards above. |
