Bradford City Youth v Spurs – Match Reports

Spurs suffered an early set-back when Adam Hardy gave visitors Bradford City the lead, but Ben Bowditch’s pass set up Jonaton Partin for an 18^th minute equaliser.  City failed to be over-whelmed and scored before half-time with Rob Burch just unable to keep out Ben Jones’ effort.

After the break, Lee Barnard took the match by the scruff of the neck with his first goal coming on the hour, burying the rebound after his first shot had been blocked and two minutes later, he headed home Chris Herron’s cross to put Spurs ahead for the first time in the tie.  Man of the Match Andrew Burke made sure of Tottenham’s progress to the Fourth Round when he dribbled around three defenders and smashed in a shot off the underside of the bar to seal the 4-2 win.
