1981 After being robbed in the initial semi-final, Spurs were virtually at home in the replay as it was staged at nearby Highbury.  An early goal by Crooks did little to settle the nerves as Wolves poured forward for the equaliser, hitting the bar in the process.  The crucial moment came just before half-time, when Garth Crooks ran onto a Glenn Hoddle through-ball and out-paced the Wolves defence to score after running half the length of the pitch.  The match was sealed by a rasping Ricky Villa drive from 20 yards, which swerved and bamboozled keeper Bradshaw.  Spurs fans evidently enjoyed the occasion as they sang “We kind of like it here” from the North Bank, the traditional end for the fans of the home team.
