1908 George Greenfield, inside forward 1931-1935, born.
1984 Spurs fielded Argentinian World Cup winner Mario Kempes alongside his former team-mate Ossie Ardiles.  Kempes was on trial with a view to a permanent contract, but failed to impress over the two games he had and was not signed permanently.
2003 Fredric Kanoute signs for Spurs for £4.5 million from West Ham United, which included Matthew Etherington making up £1 million of it going the other way to Upton Park.
2016 Alex Pritchard leaves Spurs in a £8 million move to Norwich City.
