15.02.2013 | Rarely can White Hart Lane have seen a match like this FA Youth Cup Fifth Round which Bolton won 8-4 !! A Shaquile Coulthirst goal after five minutes looked as though it might give Tottenham a good start, converting Kenny McEvoy’s cross and it was almost 2-0 after 20 minutes as Ruben Lameiras shot from 20 yards out, but dragged it just wide of the Bolton goal. The visitors levelled in the 23rd minute as Walker fired in a shot from the edge of the area and a minute later Youngs ran forward from midfield, evading a couple of challenges before he slotted past Luke McGee from inside the box. Walker then grabbed his second from 20-yards out to make it 3-1 although McEvoy tapped home when the ball dropped to him from a corner make it 3-2 right at the end of the first half.Spurs needed to keep it tight for fifteen minutes after the restart, but it was in this period that Bolton ran away with the game. Lester drilled home a shot from an acute angle and then Youngs shot was deflected leaving McGee helpless to react and the score was 5-2 to the Trotters. With 64 minutes on the clock, a free-kick was stuck into the top corner from 20 yards by Walker. A Ruben Lameiras penalty after 67 minutes and another close range finish from Coulthirst five minutes later brought the score-line to 6-4, but Youngs completed his hat-trick with a fierce shot after coming inside from the left and in injury time McGee’s save from Newby but Zach Clough wa son hand to tap it in to compete an 8-4 rout.
