| Harry Evans | Signed for Exeter City from Southampton in June 1947, making about 40 appearances and scoring six times before departing for Aldershot in March 1949. Managed the club before Bill Nicholson took him to Spurs as his assistant manager in 1959, where he stayed until he died in 1962. |

| Roger Smith | Signed as a pro with Spurs in 1962, but failed to break into the first XI, leaving for Exeter City in 1966. Stayed for one season with the Grecians, scoring three goal sin seven games before moving on to Kent non-league side Ashford Town. |
