Lee Barnard Loaned to Exeter City by Spurs in November 2002, where he made three appearances for The Grecians.  Moved on from Tottenham to Southend and then Southampton before returning to Root Hall and then Crawley.  Spent some time after that playing in the Essex non-league scene.

Calum Butcher Spurs Youth development central defender who had a trial with Exeter in 2010.

Sam Cox Had a trial with Exeter City in 2010 after being released by Spurs, where he had progressed through the Youth system.  Left Tottenham to join Barnet and continued to play non-league football while representing Guyana at international level.  Now an Academy coach at THFC.

Ellis Crompton

Laste Dombaxe Spurs Academy midfielder who trialled with Exeter City in 2012.  Left White Hart Lane to play for Swedish club Ostersunds before returning to England to play non-league football with Hayes & Yeading, East Grinstead Town, Hendon, Tiptree & Maldon and Haringey Borough.

Harry Evans Signed for Exeter City from Southampton in June 1947, making about 40 appearances and scoring six times before departing for Aldershot in March 1949.  Managed the club before Bill Nicholson took him to Spurs as his assistant manager in 1959, where he stayed until he died in 1962.

Ryan Loft Loaned to Exeter City in June 2018 before returning to Tottenham, but did not make a first team appearance before joining Leicester City and subsequently Scunthorpe United.

David Pleat Signed by Exeter in July 1968 and left for Peterborough United in 1970.  Later managed Spurs, acted as caretaker manager a number of times and remains as a Football Advisor.

John Polston Went for a trial with The Grecians before he eventually joined Tottenham’s youth system.

Les Samuels Began his career with Burnley and moved to Tottenham as an amateur.  Refused a professional deal before returning to Lancashire to play for the Clarets reserve side.  Signed for Exeter City in July 1953, but couldn’t settle in the South-West and moved North to sign for Wrexham later the same year.

Roger Smith Signed as a pro with Spurs in 1962, but failed to break into the first XI, leaving for Exeter City in 1966.  Stayed for one season with the Grecians, scoring three goal sin seven games before moving on to Kent non-league side Ashford Town.

Wayne Vaughan Trialled with Exeter during March and April 2000 before leaving Spurs in August of that year to join Canvey Island. Continued to play in the Essex non-league scene, turning out for Grays, Purfleet, Barking, Aveley and Romford.

Simon Webster On loan from Spurs at St James Park during the 1983-1984 season, where he played 26 matches.  Made three appearances for Tottenham before leaving to join Huddersfield Town and later played for Sheffield United and West Ham United.

Randell Williams Started his career in the THFC Academy before leaving for Crystal Palace, Watford and having two loan spells at Wycombe Wanderers.  Signed for Exeter City on a free transfer in January 2019.
