Tom Leslie joined in 1908 from the Vale of Clyde club in Scotland and the Glaswegian made 12 appearances at wing half during his 3 year stay.

Brought in to cover for Jabez Darnell, Leslie found it hard to break into the first team and his matches were filling in for Darnell and Bert Elkin at full back.  He boarded at 200 Northumberland Park with fellow Glasgow born player John McTavish living with the Potter family just yards from the Tottenham High Road.

After his three year Spurs career, he was released and joined Leyton, where he spent one season before he moved to Gillingham, serving them for eight years interrupted by the First World War.  Leaving Priestfield in 1920, he wound down his career at Welsh clubs Caerphilly and Barry Town.  

He died on the second quarter of 1948 in Hackney, East London.
