22.03.1997 Spurs Lodge hosted Gillingham Youth’s visit in the South-East Counties Division 1, with Tottenham winning 2-0.

Having wasted some early opportunities, Spurs scored through Julian Delicata and John Piercy in the first half to secure the win,  with young players Peter Crouch, Stephen Dobson and Glenn Poole given substitute appearances in the second period.

Teams :
Spurs – Alan Marriott, Luke Young, Darren Davies, Glenn Southgate (Stephen Dobson 80), Vinny Samways, Jamie Dormer, James Evans, Mark Gower, Ryan Spencer, John Piercy (Glenn Poole 82), Julian Delicata (Peter Crouch 60)

30.09.1989 This South-East Counties Division 1 match saw Spurs Youth finish 3-2 home winners against Gillingham Youth.

Even though both sides made first half-chances, it was only in the last minute of the 45 that the dead-lock was broken, as a long-range shot was too hot to handle for the Gills’ keeper and Anthony Potts was on hand to stick the spilled ball into the net.

The sides exchanged penalties, as Gillingham equalised in the second half, only for Ollie Morah to be fouled and Vic Hardwicke converted from 12 yards.  Potts bagged his second of the game and a late goal for Gillingham with a shot from outside the box ended up only being a consolation.

Teams :
Spurs – Ian Walker, Luke Young, Steven Bence, Warren Hackett, Stuart Nethercott, Vic Hardwicke, Lee Fulling, Kevin Smith, Ollie Morah, Anthony Potts, Scott-Aaron Houghton (Chris Kinnear 80).

14.11.1981 Spurs Youth were held to a 1-1 South-East Counties Division 1 draw against Gillingham Youth at White Hart Lane.

Dominating the first quarter of the match, Tottenham only had one goal to show for their control of the game, with Robert Brace scoring following good work on the left wing by David Hawkes and Terry Robbins and a clever cushioned header by Paul Wilkins into his path to find the net.

A shot from outside the area from Gillingham that beat Mark Hughes halfway through the second half was out of keeping with the game, but the team slipped below the level of their recent play and a draw was a fair result in the end.

Teams :
Spurs – Mark Hughes, R. Tomkins, Robert Poague, Ian Culverhouse, Peter Shirt, Terry Robbins, Robert Brace, John McStay, David Hawkes (Mark Bowen 67), Robert Codner, Paul Wilkins.
