In 1981, Tottenham launched a money-raising raffle card which cost 30p and could win you a holiday for two or £1,000 in a jackpot draw. What you did get in the Spurs Super Star Special cards after peeling the front off was a portrait of one of the players (some further away from the camera than others !).
It may have been a bit like the Panini stickers, with some players more difficult to come by than others, as my collection wasn’t complete, with 20 cards in the whole set. There was an album to put your cards into too.
