Dublin company Liam Devlin and Sons issued a number of series of Famous Footballer cards with sweet cigarettes made for Barratts in the early 1950s. In amongst the top players of the day, three Tottenham players were featured on their cards, which are shown here – Alf Ramsey in 1952, Ted Ditchburn in 1953 and George Robb in 1954.
The cards were 63mm x 45mm in size.
