| Jones Brothers operated a newsagents out of 286 High Road Tottenham, while Jones Brothers had a tobacconists at 708 High Road. The White Hart Lane ground was at 748 High Road N17. Jones Brothers therefore decided it would be a good money-spinner to issue cigarette cards with their products featuring players of the local football club as can be seen on the Jones Brothers Cigarette Cards page. They also issued postcard sized photo trading cards of Tottenham players. These were 139mm x 88mm in size. A celluloid pin badge of Jimmy Chalmers was issued (circa. 1919) to advertise a set of 16 photos cards of Tottenham players. |
