The Nelson Lee Library was a detective story paper that printed the “Footballers – English series” of cards issued in the 1921-22 season.
The set contained a total of 15 cards with two Spurs players featured –
Fanny Walden (included in Issue No. 340 – dated 10 December, 1921)
Tommy Clay (included in Issue No. 345 – dated 14 January 1922).

The cards are sized at 86mm x 128mm.
The Nelson Lee Library issued another series in 1922 of “Footballers – Pairs” that pictured two footballers from different clubs.
The set was comprised of 15 cards showing 30 players.
Each card contained a biography of each player on the reverse.No 1. featured Jimmy Dimmock and paired him with No. 2 Colin McKay (Huddersfield Town) – included in Issue No. 361 – dated 6 May 1922
No. 5 Bill Jacques had Peter Jeffries of Preston North End on the same card – included in Issue No. 363 – dated 20 May 1922
No. 14 Jimmy Seed was on a card with No. 15 Tommy Ferguson (Falkirk)- included in Issue No. 367 – dated 17 June 1922
