Panini’s sticker collection for the 1986-1987 season followed their traditional naming pattern and was called ” Panini’s Football 87″.

There was a double page spread of photos and stickers celebrating Liverpool’s 1985-1986 “Double”, two pages dedicated to photos and stickers of action from the world Cup in Mexico in the previous summer and a two-page centre-spread of cartoons entitled “Soccer Crazy – Spot the soccer crazy antics in this wacky cartoon of football fun” with all nature of unusual things that were going on at a football match.

The album is “compiled with the o-operation and approval of the Professional Footballers Association and the Scottish Professional Footballers Association”, so the opening page has stickers of both association’s Players of the Year, Young Players of the Year and the PFA Manager of the Year.

Two other features contained within the collection were “Brits Abroad” focusing on the players and managers who were plying their trade overseas in Europe and two pages showing kits from the past and the current day titled “Then And Now”, with a sticker for each of the clubs in the English and Scottish top flights.

Each Division One club had two pages that had space for stickers of the manager and 13 players, a shiny club crest and a squad photo.    The pages included details of the club and their honours and there were also three players/managers chosen from the club’s history featured in a side panel, with Tottenham’s being Bert Sproston, Bill Nicholson and Jimmy Greaves.

Scottish clubs were restricted to half-size stickers of manager, 13 players, the shiny club badge and a team photo and club details.  There were four pages dedicated to the English Second Division, with each club having a team photo and a half-size club crest sticker with club details and honours listed.
