| 24.01.2026 | Premier Under-18 League Home Won 3-0
Tottenham’s Under-18s were 2-0 ahead at the interval and went on to win 3-1 against Norwich City at Hotspur Way despite a better performance from the away side in the second period. Early in the game, Norwich fashioned a ball into the six-yard box that by-passes Blake Irow, but Tyler Tingey was there to clear from in front of the goal. The ball went into the Norwich half, a defender and goalkeeper left it for each other outside their penalty area, but Oliver Boast nipped in to get the ball although he had to go wide to the left to keep the ball in play. Boast played the ball back for Miracle Adewole, who played it in to Ronny Moncur and his set-up allowed Tye Hall to sweep a firm shot into the opposite side of the goal from 20 yards out with eight minutes on the clock. Hall had a fine match, dictating the pace of the game from midfield and switching play with intelligent passing. While Norwich had good build-up play, they had few efforts on goal, the nearest being a free-kick just left of centre that was hit powerfully, but it swerved away from goal. It was Spurs who always looked the more likely to score and when a defender slipped outside the box, the ball ran to Connall Glancy. He played a short pass inside in the box to Leon Myrtaj ,whose shot went wide, but it looked like there was contact on his by a defender. A good move played out from the back produced a chance for Adewole inside the left corner of the box, but he got under it and skied it over the bar. Having just been booked for a two footed tackle in Myrtaj, N4 then mis-cued a back pass that was heading for the top corner until the keeper got back to push it away for a corner. Unfortunately, it only gave Spurs an indirect free-kick five yards out and a yellow card for intentionally handling a back-pass. Being so close to goal, Byrne tried to chip it over the wall, but it was blacked and his subsequent cross to the far post went agonisingly wide of the opposite post with Miracle Adewole’s header missing by a foot. The Canaries started the second half with more vigour and ten minutes in, it took a sliding interception at the near post to defend a low ball in from the right wing. After Boast had been bundled over just outside the box, Byrne slid the free-kick through the six yard box with no Spurs player able to quite reach it. When substitute Ollie Salter cut across Mundle as he bore down on the penalty area, the Norwich defender brought him down and was shown his second yellow card of the game in the 70th minute. With ten minutes left, Sandford spread the ball across the pitch to Salter on the left, who beat his man in the box and poked a shot at goal that the keeper kept out at the near post. Salter kept the ball in and fashioned a ball back into the box at the same time, as Ronny Moncur won the ball in the air, forcing the keeper to touch the ball over the bar. It was only a short time before Spurs made it 2-0 after 82 minutes, when Salter came inside from the left wing to curl a low shot off the far post. Making use of the extra man, Tottenham, spurs kept the ball on the edge of the Canaries’ box and when it was played into the path of the on-running Sandford, who blasted a shot at goal, but it rocketed past the far post and when Salter jinked his way in from the left again, he passed to sub Cameron Thomas in the area and his left foot dragged a shot that squirted away off the foot of the keeper’s left hand post. As the game approached 90 minutes, a number of Spurs players were in attack and Feeney headed wide when in a good position, but with the time added on for the substitutions and the sending off, Oliver Boast made it 3-0 in the fourth minute of time added on, turning home Agyekum’s low cross at the near post. | 14.12.2024 | Premier Under-18 League Home Won 3-1
Tottenham’s Under-18s were 2-0 ahead at the interval and went on to win 3-1 against Norwich City at Hotspur Way despite a better performance from the away side in the second period. Tynan Thompson went close after a dribble down the left to fire a shot against the bar, but Spurs went ahead in the 14th minute when Dexter Oliver created a chance for Ellis Lehane. It was an astute pass inside the centre-half that put the striker into left side of the box and he managed the ball onto his left foot before shooting across the goalkeeper. Thompson then took on two Norwich players before putting the ball in to the near post, where Lehane shot over the bar from close range and then brought a diving save from the Norwich keeper before shooting over when Dexter Oliver recycled the ball inside the right side of the box. In the 27th minute George Feeney side-footed home Oliver’s cross to make it 2-0. The Canaries started the second half well, helped by poor Spurs passing, with a header saved by Blake Irow and then a follow-up shot from a corner blocked on the line. Seeley then sliced a shot across goal from the near post, with Corke having a good shot from just outside the box in the 70th minute that caused 15 year old Irow to go full-stretch to his left to push wide for a corner. No sooner had Norwich made a substitution, Spurs added a third goal. Trying to play out from a goal-kick, goalkeeper Henry Bullen passed it straight to Luca Williams-Barnett who only had to put the ball into an empty goal from six yards out. The vocal Norwich bench finally got a decision from the ref when Byrne was booked for a foul on Glossop. That was despite continual criticism of the officials’ decisions. Williams-Barnett jinked between two players in the Norwich box and went down, with neither a penalty or a corner given. What looked like a foul on Feeney in midfield wasn’t awarded and Daley ran on in the left hand channel to hit a low, bobbling shot into the goal just out of reach of Irow’s dive to his right with seven minutes left. Into added time, Arsenal transfer target Foden Northover flashed the ball across the face of goal with Rip Mundle unable to get a touch on it, then Daley scooped a shot over the top from the 18 yard line ad it was wasted chances and loose defending that cost them the match. | 24.08.2019 | Premier Under-18 League Home Won 4-0
Tottenham won their first game of the campaign with a 4-0 home win over Norwich City. Spurs truck early with to goals in the first four minutes in the sunny conditions. When a free-kick outside the box was not cleared by the Canaries defence, Michael Craig lashed the ball across goal and Max Robson was able to control the ball with one touch before driving it past Joe Rose in the Norwich goal. It was only two minutes later that the lead was doubled as Tarelle Whittaker fired in off the far post from the right corner of the Norwich penalty area. Centre forward Enock Asante was denied by a good save from Rose and had another good opportunity when he took the ball around the keeper and shot at the unguarded goal, only to see defender Arash Ahmadi slide in to take the ball wide. Rafferty Pedder had a shot blocked in the next attack, but found the net in the 38th minute when his run on the left ended with a fierce shot that beat the keeper. At the start of the second half, Whittaker’s far post header came back off the crossbar, with substitute Dane Scarlett promoted from the Under-16s forcing the keeper to a good save with his first touch. Norwich’s best chance came when Tom Dickson-Peters got into the box and shot across Josh Oluwayemi, but wide of the far post. Rose was performing very well and made an incredible save to keep out Chay Cooper’s drive with nine minutes remaining, but he could prevent Cooper getting the better of him before the end when he took Eddie Carrington’s pass and drilled a home into the back of the net from 25 yards out. A second 2-4 home defeat for the Under-18s was inflicted by Norwich City. The experienced Canaries side faced a young Spurs team, but went behind when Laste Dombaxe shot home a fifth minute cross from Jesse Waller-Lassen. Both had chances to score another goal for Spurs, with Kevin Stewart also going close, but a slip at the back let Norwich in for an equaliser before half time.
The second half saw City score three quick goals to press home their advantage, although Dombaxe stepped up to convert from the spot after he was brought down in the area to reduce the score to 2-4. Teams : |

A sparkling second half performance saw Spurs beat Norwich City 2-0 away from home in the FA Academy Premier League.
Facing a physically larger Canaries side, the Spurs boys set about their task and held out against a storming opening 25 minutes from the home side, but then started to form their own attacks, keeping the Norwich keeper busy. The second half was a different matter, with Spurs moving the ball better and their movement caused City problems, resulting in the opening goal in the 65th minute, as Jake Nicholson and Paul McBride made inroads, with the latter setting up Nicholson for the goal that gave Spurs the upper hand. McBride was replaced by Laste Dombaxe, making his first appearance for the club and it took him only five minutes to put Harry Kane away and the striker unselfishly squared the ball to Kudus Oyenuga to apply the simple finishing touch to round off the 2-0 victory. | 03.10.1988 | Spurs Youth made the journey to Norfolk for a Southern Floodlit Cup First Round replay at Norwich City and won 1-0 with the best performance of the season so far.
Both sides played open, attacking football and Spurs had the three outstanding performers in the match in Matthew Edwards, David Tuttle and Shaun Murray. The goal that won the match was special, coming in the 20th minute, as Edwards headed the ball away from a Norwich attack and it was picked up by Murray. He then went on a run that ended with him picking a precise shot past the Norwich keeper to score. The Canaries’ keeper then denied Peter Garland and Murray to keep his side in the game, with a late fight back repelled by the solid Spurs defence to see them through to Round 2 and a meeting with Southampton.
