15.02.1969 With Tottenham wearing a navy blue shirt for the first time, the referee was forced to change his black kit for a red shirt and the linesmen green shirts.  At the time, this was a rare and surprising occurence.

Bradley Allen Former QPR striker who became an Academy coach at Spurs.

Clive Allen QPR striker, who left Rangers to join Crystal Palace and then Arsenal for a few days before returning to Selhurst Park.  Later rejoined QPR and then Spurs took him to White Hart Lane where he had great success as a lone striker in a system David Pleat set up to provide him with chances.  Later went on to play for Chelsea, Millwall, Bordeaux, West Ham United, Manchester City and Carlisle United.  Going into coaching, Clive returned to the Lane as Reserve and First Team coach and was caretaker for one match between the reigns of Martin Jol and Juande Ramos.

Les Allen Spurs forward in the Double season, Les Allen joined from Chelsea and played for ten years before leaving to join QPR, where he played and then took over managerial duties.  .

Sandro Brazilian midfielder linked up again with Harry Redknapp after Mauricio Pochettino was willing to let him go in 2014.  A cult hero at the Lane, Sandro joined in 2010 for £8.4 million and he was sold for £10 million to Rangers.

Kyle Walker Loaned from Spurs to QPR to add experience to his game.

Paul Walsh Long haired striker had a successful time at Spurs between 1988 and 1991 when he played 136 games and scored 36 goals, before he went to Portsmouth as part of the transfer that brought Darren Anderton to White Hart Lane.  In 1991, he played two games for QPR while on loan from Spurs.
