Johnny Brooks A tricky dribbler, Johnny Brooks served Tottenham from 1953 to 1959 after joining from Reading, playing 179 times and scoring 51 goals.  Left in a swap deal that brought Les Allen to White Hart Lane and took Brooks to Chelsea, then moving around London to play for Brentford and Crystal Palace before trying his luck in Toronto,  Returned to England in 1964 to play for Stevenage Town for three years.  He stayed on after that for a while when the club got into financial trouble and became Stevenage Athletic.

Alan Gilzean The club that arose out of the financial issues in 1968, Stevenage Athletic provided Alan Gilzean with his first management post in 1975, but the club went under again a year later and lead to Stevenage Borough being formed.  Gilzean had played for Tottenham from 1964 through to 1975, becoming a legend at White Hart Lane, making 439appearances and scoring 138 goals.

Ryan Loft Went on loan to Stevenage from Tottenham as a youth player on 07.01.2017 until the end of the season.  Couldn’t force his way into the first team and left to join Leicester City, Carlisle United on loan and then Scunthorpe United.
Paul Mahorn
Kenneth McEvoy Irish winger, whose signing was much sought-after, was farmed out on loan to Stevenage on 26.09.2015 until 24.10.2015, making only one substitute appearance on the day he arrived against Cambridge United.  Had other loans away from Tottenham, but left for York City, who he made a few matches for before heading back to Ireland to play for Waterford between spells playing for Midlands non-league side South Normanton Athletic.  HIs second spell with the club was to combine his work career back in England.
Connor Ogilvie Solid defender who came through the Spurs Academy and went out on loan to Stevenage on 14.08.2015 until 04.01.2016 and then 24.01.2017 until the end of that season.  Went on subsequent loans to Gillingham, who he eventually joined in 2019.

Jamie Slabber
Bert Smith Spurs half back of 1919-1930 winning the Second Division title in 1920 and the FA Cup in 1921 as well as playing 319 games for the club.  In May 1931 he went on to coach the Tottenham nursery club Northfleet United and furthered his coaching career at Young Boys of Bern, Harwich and Parkeston and Stevenage, who he took to the Spartan League First Division championship title in his first season.
