- THFC FINANCIAL REPORT : – The report from the club detailing their financial position was released today, with Daniel Levy stating the the club’s spending must be “smart and sustainable”. Overall, the turnover for the year to June 2024 fell (from £549.6 million to £528.2 million), with losses after tax down from £86.8 million to £26.2 million. Without a place in the Europe during the reporting timeframe, the number of games dropped resulting in a reduction in prize money received (down from £56.2 million to £1.3 million) and a reduction in operating expenses from (487.9 million to £453.6 million). In addition, match receipts fell to £105.8 million from £117.6million. There was an increase in TV income up to £165.9 million from £148.1 million the previous year and the club’s net debt rose to £772.5 million from £677.4 million revealed in the previous report.
