- TEAM NEWS : – When Spurs face Middlesbrough tomorrow at the Riverside Stadium, they will be without Oliver Skipp, Japhet Tanganga, Lucas Moura and Rodrigo Bentancur, who are all missing injured. Nothing was mentioned about Pierluigi Gollini, who has been missing for two matches with an illness.
- UNDER-23s : – Spurs Under-23s drew 1-1 with Leeds United at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League 2 tonight. Jezreel Davies scored Tottenham’s equaliser and Spurs fielded a trialist – Kwaku Oduroh, who had captained Manchester City’s Under-18 side and played at Under-23 level for the Light Blues.
- CONTRACTS : – It is reported that Spurs are close to offering new deals to Malachi Fagan-Walcott and Ryan Sessegnon.
- TRANSFER RUMOURS : – West Ham United London and Spurs are watching Leonardo Zabala of Santos and Brazil, with the 18 year old central defender attracting a lot of attention.
Tottenham are one of six Premier League teams looking at 21 year-old Peruvian international Jahilmar Lora, who plays for Sporting Cristal.
- NFL : – It has been announced that the Green Bay Packers and the New Orleans Saints will play a match at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium later this year.

- TRANSFER RUMOUR : – Tottenham and Woolwich Wanderers are reported to be keen on signing Nantes’ 23 year old goalkeeper Alban Lafont.

- CONTE COMMENTS : – The press conference ahead of Tottenham’s match with Leeds United featured Antonio Conte explaining his comments about his future at Spurs. His frustration at losing the game at Turf Moor was the reason for his reaction and he said that he is committed to Spurs, with Daniel Levy confirming his ‘consideration’ of the Italian (i.e. how valued he is).
- TEAM NEWS : – The injury that Rodrigo Bentancur picked up in Wednesday’s match at Burnley will keep him out of tomorrow’s game at Leeds United, while Oliver Skipp and Japhet Tanganga are still side-lined as their continue their recovery from injury.
- TRANSFER RUMOURS : – Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen is out of contract in the summer and Spurs have apparently made contact with the Dane about signing on a free transfer, but other reports reckon he will not move to another Premier League club.
Tottenham have apparently been scouting Bristol City’s England Under-19 midfielder Alex Scott. The 18 year old Spurs fan is attracting a lot of interest and may move in the summer for a high fee.

- CONTE COMMENTS : – Following yesterday’s game at Burnley, Antonio Conte made comments hinting that he was ready to walk away from the club, as he is not used to losing four out of five games. This has led to speculation in the media that he may be angling a way out to take over at Manchester United in the summer and some outlets have starting finding a new boss for the club.
- TRANSFER RUMOURS : – West Ham United London, Leicester City, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Burnley and Watford are all looking at Cameron Carter-Vickers as a possible summer signing with a £10 million fee touted.
Former Manchester City midfielder Angelino, now playing for RB Leipzig, is said to be a summer transfer target for Woolwich Wanderers and Spurs.
- STADIUM : – Following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, it is likely that UEFA will strip St. Petersburg of the title of host venue for the Champions League final, with speculation that the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium may be one possible option to host the showpiece event.
OTHER NEWS : – Bradford City have appointed Mark Hughes as their new manager … having left Bradford City just over a week ago, Derek Adams has been named as the new boss at his former club Morecambe … and in a day of reunions, Grant McCann has been given the job of managing Peterborough United again …

- FIXTURE CHANGES : – Live TV coverage for Premier League matches in April have been announced and the following Spurs games have been moved
Newcash United (Home) Sunday 3rd April, kick off at 16.30 (Sky Sports).
Aston Villa (away) Saturday 9th April kicking off at 17.30 (Sky Sports) … however if Manchester City or Liverpool play at home in the Champions League on Tuesday 12th April, the Villa match will move to Sunday 10th April with a 14.30 kick off.
- TRANSFER RUMOURS : – Tottenham are being linked with a potential move for Bayern Munich midfielder Serge Gnabry who is yet to sign a new contract with the Bundesliga club.
Rumours coming out of the Spanish media are that Tottenham may be planning for a successor to Hugo Lloris, with the club reported to be keen on Unai Simon, the Spain and Athletic Bilbao goalie.

- TEAM NEWS : – Spurs will still be without Oliver Skipp and Japhet Tanganga for tomorrow’s match against Burnley as they improve their fitness after injury, while Sergio Reguilon is touch and go as to whether he will be fit after suffering a mild case of Covid-19.
- TRANSFER RUMOUR : – Although Spurs are being linked with 28 year old Real Betis midfielder Nabil Fekir in the Spanish press, he seems to have his heart set on a move to Barcelona. He does have a 100 million Euros release clause though.

- TRANSFER RUMOURS : – Olympique Lyonnais chairman Jean-Michel Aulas has said that the French club might make Tanguy Ndombele‘s transfer permanent if they win the Europa League.
Tottenham’s scouting mission to watch Sporting Lisbon earlier in the week is believed to be to monitor the Portuguese club’s midfielder Matheus Nunes. or alternatively, they could have been keeping an eye on F21 year old FC Porto midfielder Fabio Vieira.
AC Milan are rumoured to be ready to make a move to sign Steven Bergwijn in the summer.

- TRANSFER RUMOURS : – Tottenham are reported to be very interested in signing 18 year old Red Bull Salzburg striker Benjamin Sesko, but now Liverpool are said to be keen on the player, with Bayern Munich also tracking the player.
Woolwich Wanderers and Spurs are said to be interested in signing 24 year old Croatian VfB Stuttgart defender Borna Sosa.
Following stories about Gareth Bale returning to Tottenham in the summer on a free transfer, it is now said that the Spurs board have no intention of completing a deal for the Welshman.
A Spurs scout has been reported as attending the Serie A match between Fiorentina and Spezia on Monday.

- TRANSFER RUMOURS : – Rumours about Tottenham being favourites to sign Internazionale’s central defender Stefan de Vrij.
Other sources claim Juventus central defender Matthijs de Ligt may want to leave his club in the summer and Antonio Conte and Fabio Paratici‘s previous relationships with the 22 year old Dutchman might sway him to move to N17.
Pierluigi Gollini, on loan at Tottenham from Atalanta, is interesting SS Lazio, who may want to sign him in the summer.
Spurs are reported to be interested in signing Sevilla defender Jules Kounde, but so are Chelsea and the 23 year old Frenchman said last summer that he didn’t want to join Tottenham.
Ecuadorian 20 year old central defender Piero Hincape may be one of Tottenham’s summer transfer targets it is reported, but he has a contract with Bayer Leverkusen that runs until 2026.
- INTERNATIONALS : – Cristian Romero and Giovani Lo Celso have been banned from Argentina’s final two World Cup qualifying matches by FIFA for travelling to Brazil in September 2021, with that qualifier abandoned when health officials marched onto the pitch to stop the game, as the English based Argentina players had breached match protocols. Both countries have already qualified for the World Cup finals later this year.

- TEAM NEWS : – Defender Eric Dier is not yet fit to return to the side and will miss tomorrow’s game against Wolverhampton Wanderers. Oliver Skipp‘s groin injury and the knee problem Japhet Tanganga has will keep both players side-lined, but there may be first starts for January transfer window signings Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski.
- TRANSFER RUMOURS : – The Daily Express reckon Spurs may make a cut-price effort to bring Philippe Coutinho to Tottenham. The Barcelona midfielder is on loan to Aston Villa until the summer and there is an option to buy the Brazilian for £33 million, although it believed this is not a fixed price and may lead to an auction, with the Spanish club looking to raise as much money as they can to buy players themselves.
Marco Ascensio may be ousted at Real Madrid if they complete the signing of Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint Germain in the summer and Spurs may rekindle their interest in the striker.
Valencia want to extend Bryan Gil‘s loan until the end of the 2022-2023 season.
It is reported that Tottenham had a scout at the game between FC Porto and Sporting Lisbon last night.
- FA YOUTH CUP : – Spurs Under-18s lost 0-3 to Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux in the Fifth Round of the FA Youth Cup this afternoon.
- MEHSTG SPIN STORY : – From the BBC Football website Gossip page … “Former England midfielder Jack Wilshere, 30, is “more than a target” for Serie B side Como, according to the club’s councillor for sport.” I would have thought that “Fat” Jack Wilshere was “more than a target” for anything that came his way.

- DEPARTURES : – Tottenham have confirmed that Michael Craig has been released a year early from the expiry of his contract. The midfielder has been on trial with SCBC recently.
Alfie Whiteman has returned to Swedish club Degerfors IF for another loan spell until the end of the Swedish football season.
- FA CUP : – Tottenham’s away Fifth Round tie at Middlesbrough will take place on Tuesday 1st March, kicking off at 19.55 to be covered live on BBC 1 and BBC iPlayer.
- TRANSFER RUMOURS : – AS Monaco’s 17 year old midfielder Mamadou Coulibaly is a summer target for Tottenham, with his contract running out then.
Fabio Paratici watched Fulham play Millwall earlier this week, with 19 year old Cottagers’ midfielder Fabio Carvalho believed to be the focus of his attention.
Tottenham are reported to be watching Real Madrid left back Miguel Guttierez with the intention of a move for the 20 year old in the summer.
- NFL : – The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is hoping to be the venue for the NFL Super Bowl in 2026, with a bid to be made to bring the event to N17.

- TRANSFER RUMOURS : – A report indicates that Tottenham are keen on RC Lens’ defensive midfielder Cheik Doucoure. The 22 year old Mali international is also interesting Sevilla and Borussia Monchengladbach, being priced at £12.6 million to £16.9 million).
Antonio Conte said that he bumped into Christian Eriksen in the same hotel he is staying in and that it would be good if he could link up with him at Spurs after the Dane’s contract at Brentford ends in the summer.

- TEAM NEWS : – Oliver Skipp, Japhet Tanganga and Eric Dier are all injured and will miss the visit of South Coast Big Club to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium tomorrow night.
- UNDER-23s : – Midfielder Michael Craig is on trial at South Coast Big Club and has played for their Under-23s.
- TRANSFER RUMOURS : – Spurs are interested in grassroots club Glebe FC’s 18 year old central defender Nico Lawrence, along with South Coast Big Club and AFC Bournemouth.
Spanish newspaper Nacional are making a claim that Gareth Bale has agreed to sign a deal with Spurs in the summer when he will be a free agent and that this was agreed three months ago. His intention is to stay at Real Madrid until the expiry of his contract to claim all the money that the Spanish club owe him, then finish his playing days in N17.
News coming out of Chile is that Antonio Conte wants to sign 34 year old midfielder Artur Vidal from Internazionale. The Chilean international also played for Conte at Juventus.

- FA CUP : – Tottenham have been drawn to play Middlesbrough away in the Fifth Round of the FA Cup. The match will take place on Wednesday 2nd March
- TRANSFER RUMOUR : – Spurs apparently watched Djed Spence and Brennan Johnson of Nottingham Forest in their 4-1 FA Cup Fourth Round win over Leicester City this afternoon.
- INTERNATIONALS : – Pape Matar Sarr was an unused substitute as his national side Senegal beat Egypt 4-2 on penalties after the match ended 0-0 after extra time.
- MEHSTG SPIN STORY : – “Fat” Jack Wilshere, 30 (stone), has revealed that he has remained a free agent, because Mikel Arteta doesn’t want him to sign a contract despite training with Woolwich Wanderers. He forgot about every other club in the world who also don’t want him to sign a contract with them … and that is why he is still a free agent. Tell me, “What do you think of Wilshere ?”

- UNDER-18s : – Spurs Under-18s lost 2-4 at home to Crystal Palace in the Premier Under-18 League this morning. Alfie Dorrington and Rio Kyerematen scored Tottenham’s goals.
- TRANSFER RUMOUR : – Nottingham Forest, Leicester City and Spurs are all monitoring Northern Premier League Premier Division Mickleover FC’s 18 year old striker Fin Barker and the clubs may make a bid to sign the player outside of the transfer window, as players outside the professional leagues are able to be signed at any time.

- TEAM NEWS : – Spurs will be without the injured Japhet Tanganga and Oliver Skipp, but welcome back Heung-Min Son and Cristian Romero. While the new signings Dejan Kulusevski and Rodrigo Bentancur have received their work permits and have been training, they are not likely to start according to Antonio Conte‘s press conference.
- TRANSFER RUMOURS : – Apparently, Adana Demirspor had agreed a loan deal for Dele Alli until Everton came in to offer a permanent transfer for the Spurs midfielder.
Allegedly, Paris Saint Germain are said to have Fabio Paratici in their sights as a new Director of Football at the Parc des Princes, with current incumbent Leonardo is said to be losing support after failing to deliver the signings the club desired in the recent transfer window.
- CALCIO HALL OF FAME : – Antonio Conte has been inducted into the Calcio Hall of Fame for his achievements as Serie A winning manager of Juventus and Internazionale.

- RE-ARRANGED FIXTURE : – Tottenham’s away match at Burnley that was postponed on 28th November because of a snowbound pitch has been re-arranged for Wednesday 23rd February kicking off at 19.30.
- ENVIRONMENT : – Tottenham are top of the Premier League Green League for the second year running.
- TRANSFER RUMOURS : – As part of his loan departure, Tanguy Ndombele is paying Tottenham the balance of his salary between what Spurs were paying him and the amount that Olympique Lyonnais could afford it is reported in France.
Spurs and Crystal Palace are among a number of clubs interested in signing Colchester born St. Etienne goalkeeper Etienne Green in the summer.
Victor Osimhen, the SSC Napoli striker is one who Tottenham might make a move for in the summer transfer window.
Blackburn Rovers’ 16 year old central defender Ashley Phillips is being monitored by Spurs, with Internazionale’s Alessandro Bastoni, RB Leipzig’s Josko Gvardiol and Sven Botman of Lille are other players in that position who Tottenham might try to buy in the summer.
- EX-SPURS : – DeAndre Yedlin has left Galatasaray to join Inter Miami in the MLS.
- OTHER NEWS : – West Bromwich Albion have appointed Steve Bruce as their new manager.

- TRANSFER RUMOURS : – It is reported that Jose Mourinho blocked Jordan Veretout‘s move from AS Roma to Tottenham in the transfer window. The French midfielder had been mentioned as a possible signing, but news today links Spurs with a potential move for another Roma midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo.
Real Madrid are rumoured to be looking at re-signing Sergio Reguilon in the summer, with a condition of his sale to Spurs being that they could buy him back for 40 million Euros before June 2022 if the left back is agreeable to the move.
French publication L’Equipe claims that Dele Alli was offered to seven French clubs before Everton signed him. LOSC Lille, AS Monaco, Stade Rennes, Olympique Marseille, Paris Saint Germain, OGC Nice and Olympique Lyonnais.
- DIRECTOR DEPARTURE : – Steve Hitchen, the club’s Technical Performance Director has resigned after five years at the club. It is reported that he is in talks with Everton about the vacant Director of Football role at Goodison Park.
- INTERNATIONALS : – Rodrigo Bentancur scored after just 50 seconds for Uruguay in his first match after signing for Tottenham. Uruguay went on to beat Venezuela 4-1 in a World Cup qualifying match with Bentancur substituted after 74 minutes.
Colombia lost 0-1 away to Argentina in their World Cup qualifier, with Davinson Sanchez playing the whole game for Colombia, while Giovani Lo Celso played 80 minutes for Argentina.
Pape Matar Sarr was a 78th minute substitute for Senegal as they beat Burkina Faso 3-1 in the semi-final of the African Cup of Nations.

- TRANSFER DEADLINE DAY FALL-OUT : – Leeds United apparently turned down the offer to take Harry Winks on loan.
Dele Alli‘s move to Everton will involve staged payment on a yearly basis with the conditional bonuses paid if they are met. Initially, it is a free transfer with the first condition to be met being 20 appearances, when the Toffees will have to pay Tottenham £10 million.
Apparently, Aston Villa rejected a deadline day offer from Tottenham for midfielder Douglas Luiz.
