- BACKROOM STAFF : – It has been revealed that Tottenham scout Jeff Vetere resigned after he appeared on a Colombian TV show and spoke about transfer targets including 22 year old Nacional goalkeeper Kevin Mier, a report in the Daily Mail claims.
- FORMULA 1 : – Tottenham have entered into a 15 year partnership with Formula 1 to build an electric Karting track under the South Stand at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium which will be used to develop the Formula 1 drivers of the future.

- UNDER-18s : – Tottenham’s Under-18s lost 1-3 at Hotspur Way against West ham United London today, with the Spurs goal scored by Damola Ajayi.
- TEAM NEWS : – Rodrigo Bentancur‘s surgery on his knee injury rules him out of Sunday’s match against Chelsea, along with Yves Bissouma, Ryan Sessegnon and Hugo Lloris.
- TRANSFER RUMOURS : – The latest goalkeeper being linked with Spurs is Dean Henderson, who is currently playing at Nottingham Forest on loan from Manchester United and it is reported that he could cost as little as £15 million. However, it is said elsewhere that Spurs are carrying out their homework on Aston Villa’s Argentine international Emiliano Martinez.
Lucas Moura is reported to have agreed a move to Fenerbahce and if Spurs end his contract, dependant on whether or not Antonio Conte wants to keep him until the summer, he could leave for free very soon in a move similar to that of Matt Doherty.
Tottenham and Liverpool are said to be monitoring the Mainz midfielder Anton Stach, who also interests Newcash United and West Ham United London.

- TRANSFER RUMOURS : – Tottenham are rumoured to be completing the signing of on-loan Clement Lenglet from Barcelona in the summer according to reports.
Eintracht Frankfurt defender Evan Ndicka could be a free transfer target for Spurs in the close season.
Fenerbahce goalkeeper Altay Bayindir is reported to be a target for Tottenham according to sources in Turkey, as the 24 year old will be a free agent in the summer, although a pre-contract agreement has said to have been reached.
The club’s interest in Lecce’s Spanish 21 year old midfielder Joan Gonzalez may have to wait for another year, with the player signing a deal until 2027 and said to be worth 8 million Euros. It is reported that Tottenham are also looking at the Lecce captain, Dane Morten Hjulmand, but it is thought that the Serie A club are unwilling to let him leave despite a number of clubs being keen to sign him.
Rumours that Fenerbahce are close to signing Lucas Moura have been branded as a lie by the Brazilian’s agent.
Real Madrid are apparently watching Cristian Romero with a view to replacing Antonio Rudiger with the Argentina international.

- INJURY NEWS : – Rodrigo Bentancur is being rumoured to miss the rest of the season and possibly not return to fitness again until August or October having suffered what is believed to be a ACL knee injury picked up in yesterday’s game. Meanwhile, Ryan Sessegnon is reported to be out for six weeks with a hamstring injury.

Alfie Whiteman is also out injured, so Brandon Austin is likely to take the substitute goalkeeper’s position on the bench.
- DIRECTOR OF FOOTBALLL RUMOUR : – With Fabio Paratici under threat of a lengthy ban from UEFA for his part in the Juventus financial scandal, it s rumoured that Tottenham have their eyes on Benfica’s General Director Rui Pedro Braz as a potential successor to the Italian.
- FINANCIAL REPORT : – The Financial statement from the club for the year up to June 2022 saw a rise in revenue to £444 million up 22.7% from £361.9 million in the previous year’s trading. In the first full season of matches where fans could attend since the new stadium opened, there were match receipts of £106.1 million and commercial income rose to £31.5 million. However, the money received from UEFA from participation in European competition was much reduced, falling to £31.5 million because of the early Covid induced exit from the Europa Conference competition last season.

During the January transfer window, Spurs were reported to have held talks with Bayer Leverkusen about signing their 26 year old central defender Jonathan Tah.

- SPONSORSHIP : – Stories coming from South Africa is that South African Tourism are planning a £42.5 million 3-year deal for sponsoring Tottenham’s shirt sleeves. However, the report is claimed to have inaccuracies in it and the proposal still has to be passed through government before it might become reality.
