  • FIRST TEAM : –  Tottenham beat Liverpool 2-1 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this evening, with the Reds getting two red cards.  MATCH REPORT.
  • UNDER-18s : –  Spurs were reduced to ten men when Maeson King was dismissed, but still beat West Bromwich Albion U18 away with Mikey Moore and Damola Ajayi scoring the goals to give Tottenham victory.

  • TEAM NEWS : –  Spurs will be without Brennan Johnson and Rodrigo Bentancur, Heung-Min Son and James Maddison have been training this week and will be assessed tomorrow morning, while Ryan Sessegnon and Bryan Gil have been back in training.

  • TRANSFER RUMOUR : –  It is reported in Spain that Giovani Lo Celso wants to stay at Tottenham and be a success, which goes against recent rumours which have him wanting to leave in January.
  • INJURY NEWS : – Ivan Perisic left hospital after having surgery on his ACL injury and is expected to be out of action for five to six months.

  • TRANSFER RUMOURS : –  A report today claims Everton, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Spurs are thinking about making a move for Marcus Edwards of Sporting Lisbon, with Tottenham having the advantage of a 35% sell-on clause, which would reduce the cost of signing the attacking midfielder.
    AS Roma are being linked with a move for Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, re-uniting him with Jose Mourinho, as the Danish midfielder is said not to be keen to sign a new deal with Spurs.
    They are also said to be keen on taking Eric Dier to the Italian capital.
  • INJURY NEWS : – Ryan Sessegnon has returned to light training following the surgery he underwent on his hamstring problem.
  • BACKROOM STAFF NEWS : –  Sam Holt, the club’s First Team Assistant Physical Performance Coach, has left to join Stockport County as their Head of Conditioning.
  • EX-SPURS : –  Currently without a club, Andros Townsend is training with Spurs.
    Lucas Moura has won the Copa do Brasil with Sao Paulo.

  • TRANSFER RUMOURS : –  Spurs are said to have been interested in the summer in Sassuolo’s winger Armand Lauriente.
    There are reports today that Tottenham have verbally agreed to allow Ivan Perisic to leave the club in January to re-join one of his former clubs – Hajduk Split.

  • SIGNING : –  Tottenham announced today that Hajduk Split defender Luka Vuskovic has signed for Spurs and will join the club in 2015.  The 16 year old Croatian youth international joins on a five-year deal.
  • UNDER-21s : –  A seventh consecutive win this season came for Tottenham’s Under-21s at Stoke city courtesy of goals from Jamie Donley and Nile John.
  • TRANSFER RUMOURS : –  Juventus are reported to be interested in signing Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.
    Conversely, Spurs are said to be willing to make a bid for Juventus’ Brazilian central defender Gleison Bremer.
    Spurs, Woolwich Wanderers and Chelsea are all keeping tabs on Feyenoord striker Santiago Giminez.

  • FIRST TEAM : –  Tottenham drew 2-2 with Woolwich Wanderers at the Emirates Stadium this afternoon.  MATCH REPORT.
  • TRANSFER RUMOURS : –  Paris Saint Germain striker Ousmane Dembele may be on his way out of the French club on loan, with Spurs one of the clubs supposedly interested in taking him on.
    Rumours today link Tottenham with a move for Santos’ 20 year old striker Marcos Leonardo.
    Al-Ittihad and former Glasgow Celtic striker Jota is being said to be out of favour with the Saudi club, as they have signed too many foreign players, leading to speculation that Ange Postecoglou might want to link up with the Portuguese forward.

  • UNDER-18s : –  Spurs Under-18s beat Reading 3-0 at Hotspur Way with two goals from Mikey Moore and one from Ellis Lehane.
  • TRANSFER RUMOUR : –  Spurs are still said to be interested in signing Gent striker Gift Orban, but could face competition from AC Milan and Barcelona.

  • TEAM NEWS : –  Tottenham will be without Ivan Perisic, Rodrigo Bentancur, Bryan Gil, Ryan Sessegnon and Giovani Lo Celso through injury for Sunday’s game against Woolwich Wanderers.
  • TRANSFER RUMOURS : –  It is reported that Spurs are ready to listen for offers for Giovani Lo Celso in January despite having an opportunity to impress under Ange Postecoglou.
    Everton are reported to be seeking talks with Tottenham to re-negotiate the terms of Dele Alli‘s transfer, with a £10 million payment due if he plays seven more times for the Toffees.
    The Daily Express claim that Spurs may look to make a move for AC Milan striker Marcus Thuram, as they seek to re-unite the whole family at the THS.

  • TRANSFER RUMOURS : –  Harry Kane’s “buy back” clause in his contract has been revealed as a “first refusal” option if the striker comes back to the Premier League and is reported as only likely to happen if Daniel Levy is no longer at the club.
    Tottenham, Liverpool, Paris Saint Germain, Juventus and Bayern Munich are all said to be interested in signing OGC Nice midfielder Khephren Thuram.
    Rumours today claim that Valencia and Real Sociedad are keen on signing Bryan Gil, initially on loan in January with an option to make it permanent, as it is claimed that Ange Postecoglou won’t play him, although he hasn’t really had much opportunity to as the winger has not been fit lately.
    Genoa are asking between 30 million and 40 million Euros for Romanian defender Radu Dragusin, with discussions said to be in progress between his agent and a number of Premier League clubs.
  • CLUB SALE QUOTE : – Daniel Levy has said that any proposal to the club would be considered as to whether it is in the best interests of Tottenham Hotspur.
  • BACKROOM STAFF NEWS : –  It is reported that Chief Scout Leonardo Gabbanini has been sacked as the organisation in recruitment and scouting is reviewed.
  • OTHER NEWS : –  Huddersfield Town have appointed Darren Moore as their new manager  …

  • INJURY NEWS : –  Ivan Perisic has had to have surgery on an anterior cruciate ligament injury and the Croatian international is expected to be out for the remainder of the season, with his contract expiring in June 2024.
  • TRANSFER RUMOURS : –  Harry Kane has revealed that Real Madrid made a £60 million bid to sign him before he left for Bayern Munich and Paris Saint Germain were interested too.  His interview also claimed that he would have waited for move to Mancashter United on a free transfer at the end of this season had the struggling club had made an approach for him.
    Spurs may have to compete with Barcelona for the signing of Gent forward Gift Orban in the January transfer window.
  • EX-SPURS : –  Former Spurs defender Malachi Fagan-Walcott, who was released in July, has signed for Cardiff City until the end of the season.
    Another Development squad player released this summer, Kallum Cesay, has not been offered a contract at Bundesliga club Werder Bremen.

  • UNDER-21s : –  Jamie Donley (2), Jude Soonsup-Bell (2) and Will Lankshear all scored in a 5-0 win at Colchester United tonight in their EFL Trophy group match.
  • TRANSFER RUMOURS : –  Giovani Lo Celso is supposedly ready to push through a move in January, with his former club Real Betis a reported destination for the Argentine international.
    Daniel Levy told a Fans Forum that there was a “buy-back” clause included in Harry Kane‘s deal when he was sold to Bayern Munich.
    Spurs are once again being linked with a move for Mancashter United central defender Harry Maguire in the next transfer window with a price of £30 million quoted.
    Reports today claim that Tottenham and Woolwich Wanderers will be challenging each other for the January signing of 19 year old Israeli international midfielder Oskar Gloukh of RB Salzburg.

  • TRANSFER RUMOUR : –  A report in The Sun reckons Spurs are among a cluster of clubs said to be interested in 19 year old free agent Adeteye Gbadehan.  The American with a British passport chose not to join an academy in his homeland, but the central midfielder would prefer to try his luck in England, with South Coast Big Club said to be favourites to sign him.

  • INJURY NEWS : –  Djed Spence, currently on loan at Leeds United, has suffered a ligament injury and will be out for several weeks.
  • TRANSFER RUMOURS : –  Woolwich Wanderers are supposed to be ready to make a move for Yves Bissouma in the January transfer window !
    A lot of stories today reckon Tottenham will be back in for Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher in January.
    The club might also resurrect a move for Gent striker Gift Orban, as the scouts were very impressed with him, but the price tag was thought to be a little inflated at £30 million.
  • RACIST ABUSE : – Sheffield United goalkeeper Wes Foderingham has been the subject of racial abuse on social media following the match against Spurs yesterday.  Both clubs have denounced this unnecessary attack on the player.

  • UNDER-18s : – Spurs U18s beat Brighton & Hove Albion 4-2 at Hotspur Way this morning.  Ellis Lehane scored twice, with Yusuf Akhamrich and Oliver Irow adding two more.

  • FIXTURE CHANGES : –  Tottenham have had two matches moved in November for live TV coverage …
    Chelsea (Home) – will now take place on Monday 5th November with a 20.00 kick off (Sky Sports).
    Wolverhampton Wanderers (Away) – will kick off at 12.30 on Saturday 11th November (TNT Sport) 
  • AWARDS : –  Ange Postecoglou has won the Manager of the Premier League Month award for August and James Maddison won the Premier League Player of the Month for August.
  • TRANSFER RUMOUR : –  Glasgow Celtic striker Daizen Maeda is reported to be a player Tottenham are keen on, with a £25 million move suggested for January.
  • RICHARLISON : –  Following Richarlison‘s revelation while on international duty with Brazil that he has been struggling with pressures away from the pitch because of financial issues, Ange Postecoglou said today that the club would give the striker all the help he needs to get back to the place where he needs to be.

  • INTERNATIONALS : –  Richarlison played 64 minutes of Brasil’s 1-0 away win over Peru in a World Cup qualifying game early this morning before being substituted.
  • INJURY NEWS : –  Bryan Gil has had to undergo surgery on his groin injury and will be out of contention for a place in the team until November.
    Richarlison told the media today that he has been suffering pressures from off field issue for five months and that they are behind him now, although he will be seeking psychological help when he is back in England to help him through the difficulties he has been going through.
  • TRANSFER RUMOURS : – It is reported that Tottenham are watching Sporting Lisbon striker Pedro Goncalves with a view to a move for him in January, with a fee of around £67.8 million being quoted for his signing.
    AC Milan are said to be keen on Giovani Lo Celso, with a story in Spain claiming that Spurs are willing to accept 20 million Euros for the Argentine midfielder.

    Cristian Romero played all of Argentina’s 3-0 away win against Bolivia in a World Cup qualifier today.
    Israel beat Belarus 1-0 in a home friendly today, with Manor Solomon playing all 90 minutes.
    Sweden were beaten 3-1 at home in a Euro 2024 qualifier by Austria tonight, with Dejan Kulusevski playing the whole match.
    Guglielmo Vicario was an unused substitute in Italy’s 1-0 win over Ukraine at home tonight in a Euro 2024 qualifying match.
    South Korea’s 1-0 friendly win over Saudi Arabia featured Heung-Min Son, who captained his side and was substituted one minute into added time at the end of the game at St. James Park.
    Pape Matar Sarr played 70 minutes of Senegal’s 0-1 home friendly defeat by Algeria before being substituted.
    Josh Keeley kept goal for the Republic of Ireland Under-21s in their 3-0 Euro U21 Championship qualifier at home to San Marino.

    Ivan Perisic was in the Croatia team for the full match as they beat Armenia 1-0 away in a Euro 2024 qualifier today.
    Dane Scarlett came on as a 63rd minute substitute in England Under-21s 3-0 away win against Luxembourg in the U21 European Championship qualifying match.

  • INTERNATIONALS : –  Micky van de Ven was an unused substitute in the Netherlands 2-1 Euro 2024 qualifying win over the Republic of Ireland in Dublin tonight.
    Denmark beat Finland 1-0 away tonight in their Euro 2024 Euro qualifying match with Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg playing the whole game and scoring the only goal in the 86th minute.
  • TRANSFER RUMOURS : –  Agreement is reported to have been completed for Hajduk Split’s 16 year old defender Luka Vuskovic with a fee said to be up to £12 million, although the player will not join Spurs until 2025, when he is 18.  The player apparently only wants to sign for Tottenham, despite interest from Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea and Barcelona.
    Spurs could go head-to-head with Liverpool to sign Bayer Leverkusen’s Ecuadorian central defender Piero Hincapie in January.

  • INTERNATIONALS : –  Richarlison played all of Brazil’s 5-1 win over Bolivia late last night in a World Cup qualifier this morning.
    James Maddison started for England but was substituted after 66 minutes in a drab 1-1 draw in Poland against Ukraine in a Euro 2024 qualifier.
    Sweden beat Estonia 5-0 away tonight in their Euro 2024 qualifying match, with Dejan Kulusevski playing the whole game and scoring on of the goals.
    Israel drew 1-1 in their Euro 2024 qualifier away in Romania tonight, with Manor Solomon completing the match for his country.
    Guglielmo Vicario was an unused substitute in Italy’s 1-1 Euro 2024 qualifier away to North Macedonia.
    England Under-19s beat Switzerland 4-2 in Spain today with Alfie Dorrington played the whole match, while Ashley Phillips came off the bench after 63 minutes and scored two minutes later.  Luca Gunter and Jamie Donley were unused substitutes.
    England Under-17s drew 1-1 with Morocco in the PinartarArena Supercup in Spain today.  Mikey Moore came on as a substitute in the 58th minute and Callum Olusesi in the 81st minute.
  • TRANSFER RUMOUR : –  Apparently, after Al-Ittihad failed to sign Mohamed Salah in the last throes of the transfer window, they turned to try and sign Richarlison with contact made with the Brazilian striker’s agents, although it came too late in the day for anything to materialise.

  • INTERNATIONALS : –  Cristian Romero played all of Argentina’s 1-0 win over Ecuador late last night in a World Cup qualifier in Buenos Aires.
    Croatian beat Latvia 5-0 in a Euro 2024 qualifier and Ivan Perisic set up two goals playing the whole match.
    Yves Bissmoua came on as a 62nd minute substitute in Mali’s 4-0 win over South Sudan in their African Cup of Nations qualifier today.
    Josh Keeley was the Republic of Ireland’s Under-21 goalkeeper in their 3-2 Euro U21 Championship qualifier over Turkey in Dublin tonight.
  • TRANSFER RUMOUR : –  According to rumours today, Spurs will move for either Tosin Adarabioyo of Fulham of AFC Bournemouth’s Lloyd Kelly in January as they look to move Eric Dier on.

  • INTERNATIONALS : –  Heung-Min Son and Ben Davies captained their respective countries in South Korea’s 0-0 draw with Wales at Cardiff tonight in a friendly.  Brennan Johnson played the first half for Wales before being substituted, while Joe Rodon played the whole game.
    Denmark won 4-0 in a Euro 2024 qualifier against San Marino in Copenhagen tonight with Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg scoring once in the 58 minutes he played before being substituted.

  • TRANSFER OUT : –  Defender Maksim Paskotsi has moved to Swiss club Grasshopper of Zurich.  The size of any fee for the Estonian international defender was not mentioned.
  • INTERNATIONALS : –  England Under-19s lost 0-1 to Germany in Spain today with Luca Gunter and Ashley Phillips starting the match, playing 66 minutes and 75 minutes respectively.  Alfie Dorrington came off the bench after 75 minutes, while Jamie Donley was an unused substitute.

  • TRANSFER RUMOUR : –  Despite continuing links to Turkey and Saudi Arabia, Spurs are said to be ready to reject moves for Hugo Lloris until January.
  • INTERNATIONALS : –  Micky van de Ven has been called up to the Netherlands squad as they face Euro 2024 qualifying matches against Greece and the Republic of Ireland.

  • TRANSFER OUT : –  Davinson Sanchez has joined Turkish club Galatasaray on a four year deal with an extra year as an option for a fee of £8.1 million.
  • LOAN OUT : – Galatasaray have taken Tanguy Ndombele on loan for the rest of the season with an option to buy for £12.6 million at the end of it.  it is reported that Tottenham will only pay £855,000 of the midfielder’s salary while he is in Turkey on loan
  • TRANSFER RUMOUR : –  Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has been linked with moves to Galatasaray and the Saudi Arabian league, but Spurs will not allow him to leave now because they are unable to sign a player to take his place in the squad.
  • INTERNATIONALS : –  Destiny Udogie has withdrawn from the Italy Under-21 squad with an injury.
  • EX-SPURS : –  Former Spurs midfielder Sandro announced his retirement today and he intends to concentrate on coaching.
  • MEHSTG SPIN STORY : –  Chelsea decided not to sign James Maddison as he was deemed as too old, with the Stamford Bridge club only interested in ruining the careers of young players, who will sit on the side-lines for several seasons.

  • TRANSFER RUMOURS : –  Rumours today claim Spurs may cancel Eric Dier‘s contract after he was again left out of the matchday squad for the game at Burnley and he was being offered as a make-weight in potential transfers during the window that has just closed, but he may run down his contract to get a pre-contract agreement in January to seal a move to a club of his choice.
    Spurs are willing to let Hugo Lloris leave on a free transfer, but he turned down a last-minute move to OGC Nice as his discussions with a representative from the club failed to convince him that the project was not what he was looking for.

  • FIRST TEAM : –  Tottenham beat Burnley 5-2 at Turf Moor this afternoon.  MATCH REPORT.
  • TRANSFER OUT: –  Midfielder Harvey White has signed for Stevenage on a permanent deal for an undisclosed sum.
  • UNDER-21s : –  The Spurs Under-21s beat Blackburn Rovers 4-0 at Stevenage FC this afternoon in Premier League 2.  Jude Soonsup-Bell scored the opening goal, with Jamie Donley, Will Lankshear and Soonsup-Bell again sealing a comfortable victory.
  • UNDER-18s : –  Blackburn Rovers were Tottenham Under-18s opponents in the Premier League Cup and we secured a 3-0 away win thanks to goals from Oliver Irow, Callum Olusesi and Mikey Moore.
  • TRANSFER RUMOURS : –  Apparently, Galatasaray made a late enquiry about signing Giovani Lo Celso, but his agent was given an assurance that he is highly rated by Ange Postecoglou and features in his plans for this season.
    The Turkish club are also keen on Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, with their transfer window still open.

  • TRANSFER DEADLINE DAY : –  All the actual and rumoured moves …
  • TRANSFER IN: –  Striker Brennan Johnson has joined Tottenham from Nottingham Forest for a reported fee of £47.5 million, with Forest having a 10% sell-on clause.  The 22 year old’s contract will run until 2029 and will wear the number 22 shirt.
  • LOAN OUT : –   Japhet Tanganga has joined German club Ausburg on loan for the rest of this season, with an option to buy next summer.
  • LOAN OUT : –   Sergio Reguilon has joined Mancashter United club on loan for the remainder of the season.
  • DEADLINE DAY TRANSFER RUMOURS : –  Hugo Lloris is said to have turned down a move from Newcash United.  Spurs were believed to be ready to allow Hugo to leave on a free transfer, with interest from his first club OGC Nice, who have just let Kasper Schmeichel leave the Ligue 1 club.
    While Tottenham were priced out of a move for Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher, there were rumours of a late move for the Blues defensive midfielder Trevoh Chalobah on loan, with the player rated at £50 million (what they were said to be quoted for Gallagher).  He may be viewed as a second best option and probably not one who would be a first choice in many Premier League clubs.
    Interest from PSV Eindhoven, AS Monaco and Rennes dropped off, meaning Davinson Sanchez is set to stay with Tottenham.
    Also staying is Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, who turned down a move to Fulham and rumours of Atletico Madrid’s move failed to materialise.
    Eric Dier is another player remaining at the THS, having no interest in being used a part of a number of swap deals that he was linked with.
    Rumours of a late move for AFC Bournemouth defender Lloyd Kelly failed to amount to anything, although reports said that a £20 million bid had been rejected.
    Despite interest from Hearts, Ross County, Stevenage, Tranmere Rovers and Cheltenham Town, midfielder Harvey White has not had a solid bid made for him and a loan deal might be on the cards at some point.
    Fulham defender Tosin Adarabioyo‘s intended move to either AS Monaco or Tottenham failed to happen and he will remain at Craven Cottage.
  • TEAM NEWS : –   Rodrigo Bentancur, Ryan Sessegnon, Alfie Whiteman, Bryan Gil and Giovani Lo Celso will all be unavailable because of injury for tomorrow’s match at Burnley.
  • INTERNATIONALS : –  Dane Scarlett has received his first England Under-21 call-up for the country’s U21 Euro Championship qualifier against Luxembourg on September 11th, while Alfie Devine has been called into the England Under-20 squad for a training camp in September and who will face Romania and Portugal in October in the Euro Under-20 Elite League.  Four Spurs players have been included in the England Under-19 squad, with Jamie Donley, Luca Gunter, Alfie Dorrington and Ashley Phillips under consideration to play friendlies in Spain against Germany and Switzerland.
  • EX-SPURS : –  Former development squad striker Ryan Loft has moved from Bristol Rovers to Port Vale for an undisclosed fee.
