- UNDER-21s : – Peterborough United beat Spurs Under-21s at London Road 3-1 tonight. Alejo Veliz scored his first goal for Tottenham, but the senior Posh side won out.
- TRANSFER RUMOUR : – Spurs are supposed to be interested in signing Glasgow Celtic midfielder Matt O’Riley.
- FIXTURE CHANGE : – Our home match against Newcastle United will now kick off at 16.30 on Sunday 10th December 2023 with live coverage on Sky Sports.
- EX-SPURS : – Colchester united have re-instated Matthew Etherington as their temporary manager after seeking legal advice over a contract dispute with his former club Crawley Town.
- TRANSFER RUMOURS : – Rumours today claim Tottenham have an interest in signing Real Sociedad midfielder Brais Mendez, with the 26 year old rated at 30 million Euros.
Another midfielder Spurs are watching is Internazionale’s 29 year old Turkish international Hakan Calhanoglou, who would cost 50 million Euros.
Florian Wirtz, the 20 year old Bayer Leverkusen midfielder, is being linked with interest from Tottenham today.
23 year old Juventus left back Andrea Cambiaso is a defender Tottenham are considering a move for.
Danish central defender Victor Nelsson is set to leave Galatasaray, with Spurs one of the clubs linked with the 25 year old.
Galatasaray are considering ending the loan of Tanguy Ndombele, who they have been disappointed with.
- BACKROOM RUMOURS : – Reports today claim that Spurs are planning to make a move for their former Head of Player Identification Rob MacKenzie, who went on to work at Derby County and Belgian club OH Leuven. Currently with Aston Villa, his reputation has grown and Tottenham are looking to persuade him to return to N17.
- EX-SPURS : – Colin Calderwood has left Northampton Town, where he was assistant manager, to become first team coach at South Coast Big Club.
- TRANSFER RUMOURS : – Tottenham are being linked with a move for Real Madrid’s 34 year old German midfielder Toni Kroos.
Mancashter United winger Jadon Sancho, who has fallen out with his manager, could be a £35 million target for Spurs.
- UNDER-18s : – Tottenham’s Under-18s won 4-3 against Chelsea at Cobham this morning. Goals from Mikey Moore, Oliver Irow, Leo Black and Damola Ajayi kept Spurs top of the table.
- TRANSFER RUMOURS : – Paris Saint Germain’s 27 year old Spanish midfielder Fabian Ruiz is being linked with an interest from Tottenham.
Spurs are reportedly still interested in the Japanese Borussia Monchengladbach defender Ko Itakura.
- OTHER NEWS : – Grimsby Town sacked their manager Paul Hurst today … Gareth Ainsworth has been sacked as QPR manager today …
- FIRST TEAM : – Tottenham beat Crystal Palace 2-1 at Selhurst Park tonight. MATCH REPORT.
- UNDER-21s : – Our Under-21 side made it 10 wins out of 10 matches this season with a 4-2 win over Sunderland away with Jude Soonsup-Bell, Will Lankshear and a George Abbott brace giving Tottenham the victory.
- TRANSFER RUMOURS : – Spurs have made extensive checks on Bournemouth defender Lloyd Kelly with a view of signing him in January.
Tottenham and Aston Villa are both reported to be interested in Palmeiras’ 25 year old left-back/wing-back Joaquin Piquerez.
Spurs and Woolwich Wanderers are both rumoured to be interested in buying Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Pedro Neto in the January transfer window.
- EX-SPURS : – Matthew Etherington has been denied permission to temporarily manage Colchester United by his previous club Crawley Town, who say that he is still under contract and therefore a fee for his release would be necessary.
- TEAM NEWS : – Destiny Udogie is a doubt for Friday night’s game at Crystal Palace, after feeling fatigue during the first half against Fulham on Monday, so he will be assessed closer to the game as to whether he will be able to take part. Pape Matar Sarr, who had been ill in the run-up to Monday’s match will be OK for Palace, while Yves Bissouma will be available for the game after serving his suspension for getting sent off at Luton, but another yellow will mean a suspension for totting up five cautions. Long-term absentees Rodrigo Bentancur, Ryan Sessegnon, Manor Solomon, Alfie Whiteman and Ivan Perisic are all still unavailable.
- FIXTURE CHANGES : – The latest tranche of matches for live TV coverage have been selected for December and much of January and as such, the following Spurs matches have been re-arranged.
West Ham United London (Home) will now be played on Thursday 7th December with a 20.15 kick-off (Amazon Prime)
Nottingham Forest (Away) is now set for Friday 15th December kicking off at 20.00 (Sky Sports)
Brighton & Hove Albion (Away) has moved to Thursday 28th December – kick-off at 19.30 (Amazon Prime).
AFC Bournemouth (Home) has been re-arranged for Sunday 30th December (kick off 14.00) although it is not being screened live on TV.
Manchester United (Away) is now to be played on Sunday 14th January, kicking off at 16.30 (Sky Sports).
- LEGACY NUMBERS : – The Club today produced a list of Legacy Numbers for each player to have represented Tottenham Hotspur since the first competitive match in 1894. The number allocated to the player recognises their part in the club’s history and current players will have their number sewn into the back of their shirt under the collar. Each player who makes their debut in the future will have the Legacy Number following on sequentially from their predecessor.
- TRANSFER RUMOUR : – Despite a number of clubs being keen on Feyenoord’s Mexican striker Santiago Gimenez, his agent claims that Spurs and Real Madrid are the two who are closest to signing the 22 year old who could cost £40 million.
- OTHER NEWS : – Joey Barton has been sacked as manager of Bristol Rovers.
- TRANSFER RUMOUR : – Newcash United and Spurs are reported to be in for the 26 year old Juventus winger Federico Chiesa, who the Italian club are willing to sell for £60 million.
- TRANSFER RUMOURS : – Spurs striker target – Serhou Guirassy of Stuttgart – is reported to have a £17.4 million release clause, so a number of clubs are being linked with the 27 year old Frenchman.
Stories today link Tottenham with a loan move for Al-Ittihad striker Jota in January.
Liverpool, Tottenham and Woolwich Wanderers are said to be interested in 21 year old Atletico Madrid striker Nico Williams.
Galatasaray defender Sacha Boey is reported to be a transfer target for Spurs.
- FIRST TEAM : – Tottenham beat Fulham 2-0 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium tonight. MATCH REPORT.
- TRANSFER RUMOURS : – Rumours today are linking Bayern Munich with a move for Eric Dier.
Tottenham are reported as being interested in Uruguayan central defender, Sebastian Caceres, who plays his football for Club America in Mexico. The 24 year old is also interesting Mancashter United, West Ham United London, Newcash United and Fulham.
- EX-SPURS : – Former Spurs winger Matthew Etherington has been made temporary manager at Colchester United ….
- TRANSFER RUMOURS : – Spurs are among a number of clubs who have watched 20 year old Valencia midfielder Javi Guerra.
- UNDER-18s : – The Spurs Under-18 side lost 3-4 at home to Chelsea in the Under-18 Premier League Cup, despite finding the net through Mikey Moore, Oliver Irow and Yusuf Akhamrich.

- TEAM NEWS : – Both Heung-Min Son and Cristian Romero are fit to play against Fulham on Monday after suffering knocks on international duty, while Brennan Johnson could come into contention for a starting place after recovering from his hamstring injury, with Bryan Gil also ready to be included in the squad. Yves Bissouma is suspended after being sent off, Ryan Sessegnon is still out recovering from surgery on his hamstring, but Rodrigo Bentancur is back in training with the main squad although a way off being match-fit. Alfie Whiteman is still getting over an operation.
- FIXTURE CHANGE : – Our away match at the Etihad against Manchester City has been moved for live TV coverage by Sky Sports and will now be played on Sunday 3rd December, kicking off at 16.30.
- TRANSFER RUMOURS : – Tottenham are said to be ready to challenge West Ham United London for the signing of Chelsea midfielder Trevoh Chalobah.
20 year old right back Arnau Martinez of Girona is being tracked by Tottenham and Woolwich Wanderers.
Spurs are reported to have made the first move for Galatasaray winger Kerem Akturkoglu, ahead of a number of other interested clubs.
- TRANSFER RUMOURS : – Reports from Turkey reckon that Tottenham are looking at signing Fenerbahce midfielder Ismail Yuksek, with the 24 year old expected to fetch over 15 million Euros.
Spurs may have to battle with Glasgow Celtic for winger Jota, who is set to leave Al-Ittihad and is wanted by his former club, while his former manager Ange Postecoglou is keen on adding him to the Tottenham squad.
- INTERNATIONALS : – Richarlison came off the bench in the fourth minute of first half added time to replace Neymar in Brazil’s 0-2 defeat away in Uruguay. Emerson Royal was an unused substitute.
In Argentina’s 2-0 away win over Peru this morning, Cristian Romero played the first half of the World Cup qualifying match, being substituted after getting a knock on his ankle and Giovani Lo Celso came on in the 78th minute.
- TRANSFER RUMOUR : – It is reported that Spurs and the Woolwich Wanderers will make a move for Club Brugge top scorer and 23 year old Danish international winger Andreas Skov Olsen in January.
- OTHER NEWS : – Gary Rowett has left Millwall as their manager by Mutual consent … manager Mark Kennedy has left Lincoln City …
- CONTRACT : – Pele Arganese-McDermott has signed a new contract that will keep the defender at the club until 2026.
- INTERNATIONALS : – Destiny Udogie started Italy’s 1-3 defeat by England at Wembley, playing 63 minutes before being substituted. James Maddison was an unused sub for England, who qualified for the Euro 2024 finals in Germany.
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg was in Denmark’s 2-1 away Euro 2024 qualifier against San Marino for the full 90 minutes.
Heung-Min Son scored one goal and made one goal in South Korea’s 6-0 friendly win over Vietnam, playing all 90 minutes today.
There was a 0-0 draw for England Under-19s in a U19 Euro championship qualifier with Austria. Ashley Phillips was captain and played the whole game, along with Luca Gunter. Striker Jamie Donley played 69 minutes and Alfie Dorrington was an unused substitute.
The England Under-20 team suffered a late defeat, going down 1-2 to Portugal in their Elite League match at MK Dons. Alfie Devine played 85 minutes and Dane Scarlett 66 minutes before they were substituted.
- TRANSFER RUMOURS : – Juventus are still interested in signing Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg who is still interesting Atletico Madrid too.
Having backed off from investing into Mancashter United, Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani – a banker from Qatar is reported by the Daily Mirror to be turning his attention to Tottenham.
Woolwich Wanderers, Mancashter United, Chelsea and Spurs are all rumoured to be keen on signing Crystal Palace central defender Marc Guehi.
- INTERNATIONALS : – Micky van de Ven came off the Netherlands bench in the 74th minute of his country’s 1-0 away win over Greece in the euro 2024 qualifying campaign.
Belgium’s Euro 2024 qualifier with Sweden was abandoned at half-time out of respect to the two Swedish tourists shot dead in Brussels by a gunman earlier in the day. Dejan Kulusevski played from the start until the game was brought to a halt.
Senegal played Cameroon in a home friendly and won 1-0 with Pape Matar Sarr completing 69 minutes before being taken off.
- EX-SPURS : – Former Tottenham defender Pascal Chimbonda has been appointed as the new manager of Skelmersdale United.
- INTERNATIONALS : – Italy’s 4-0 win over Malta at home in a Euro 2024 qualifier saw Destiny Udogie make his debut for the national side as a 79th minute substitute
Denmark beat Kazakhstan 3-1 in Copenhagen in their Euro 2024 qualifying match with Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg playing the whole game.
- AWARDS : – The Premier League Manager of the Month for September has been won by Ange Postecoglou for the second successive month and Heung-Min Son won the Premier League Player of the Month award for September.
- FIXTURE CHANGE : – Tottenham’s home Premier League match against Aston Villa has been chosen for live TV coverage and is now set for Sunday 26th November, kicking off at 14.00.
- INTERNATIONALS : – Netherlands lost 1-2 at home to France in the Euro 2024 qualifiers, with Micky van de Ven making his debut from the bench in the 80th minute.
Brazil have called up Emerson Royal into the squad to face Uruguay in a World Cup qualifier on Wednesday 18th October in Montevideo.
- INTERNATIONALS : – Argentina Beat Paraguay at home in a World Cup qualifying match, with Cristian Romero playing the whole match and Giovani Lo Celso came off the bench in the 94th minute.
Richarlison started for Brazil in their 1-1 draw with Venezuela in the World Cup qualifier, but was substituted in the 59th minute.
England Under-20s lost an Elite League match in Bucharest 0-2 to Romania, with Alfie Devine and Dane Scarlett both starting, with Dane substituted in the 69th minute and Alfie taken off with 79 minutes gone.
Mikey Moore scored with a long distance volley after coming on as a substitute in the 61st minute in England Under-17s 2-2 home friendly against Norway. Callum Olusesi came off the bench in the 71st minute.
- TRANSFER RUMOURS : – Chelsea and Spurs are reported to be interested in signing Sporting Lisbon midfielder Marcus Edwards in the January transfer window.
- INTERNATIONALS : – Skipper Ben Davies gave Wales the lead in their friendly against Gibraltar at Cardiff City FC tonight, as his side went on to a 4-0 win. Davies was substituted at half-time and Joe Rodon was an unused substitute.
England U17s beat Norway 3-0 with Mikey Moore was among the scorers and Callum Olusesi played in the friendly match too, with both playing 82 minutes.
England U19s drew 0-0 with Montenegro in their Euro U19 Championship qualifying match tonight. Ashley Phillips and Luca Gunter both completed the match, while Alfie Dorrington was an unused substitute.
- EX-SPURS : – Having been released in the summer, Kallum Cesay is now interesting Huddersfield Town after playing a EFL match for them this week in a B Team Cup game.
Former Spurs winger Andros Townsend has signed a deal with Luton Town until January after being left without a club on the expiry of his contract at Everton.

- TRANSFER RUMOURS : – Sporting Lisbon may be plotting to take Eric Dier back to Portugal in January after it appears that Ange Postecoglou has decided that he will not be a first team regular.
Tottenham are strangely being linked with a move for Kalvin Phillips, who is struggling to get into the Mancashter City side.
- EURO 2028 : – With Turkey withdrawing their application to host the European Championship finals in 2028, it has left UEFA with only one option with the UK and Ireland announced as the chosen hosts. The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is one of the grounds where matches will be staged.
- TECHNICAL DIRECTOR : – Spurs have announced that Johan Lange has been appointed as the club’s Technical director, taking on the recruitment and analysis responsibilities previously held by Fabio Paratici and Gretar Steinsson. Current Aston Villa Head of Global Development and International Academies Lange will start his duties with Tottenham on 1st November.
- UNDER-21s : – A 2-1 away win at Bristol City has put Tottenham Under-21s top of their Premier League Cup group thanks to goals from Max McKnight and a late penalty from Jude Soonsup-Bell.
- EX-SPURS : – Robbie Keane, now managing Maccabi Tel-Aviv, has had to escape from Israel following attacks on the country by Palestinian militant organisation Hamas.

- TRANSFER RUMOURS : – Turkish outlets are claiming that Tottenham are interested in signing 24 year old Adana Demirspor midfielder Yusuf Sari.
Norwich City goalkeeper Dylan Thompson, 20, is looking to be likely to join Tottenham’s Academy.
- FIRST TEAM : – Tottenham beat Luton Town 1-0 at Kenilworth Road this afternoon. MATCH REPORT.
- UNDER-18s : – The Spurs Under-18 team thrashed Norwich City 7-2 in the Premier Under-18 League this morning. Mikey Moore led the way with three goals, with Leo Black, Oliver Irow, Herbie James and Callum Olusesi completing the rout at Hotspur Way.
- TEAM NEWS : – Manor Solomon is the latest addition to the Spurs injury list, joining Rodrigo Bentancur, Alfie Whiteman and Brennan Johnson, while James Maddison and Heung-Min Son have been declared ready to play at Luton tomorrow. Bryan Gil could be added to the squad after returning to full training.
- INTERNATIONALS : – Guglielmo Vicario and Destiny Udogie have been selected in the Italy squad for Euro 2024 qualifiers against Malta and England next week.
Cristian Romero and Giovani Lo Celso have been picked by Argentina for their upcoming World Cup qualifying matches against Paraguay and Peru.
Micky van de Ven is in the Netherlands squad to face France and Greece in their Euro 2024 qualifiers next week.
Alfie Devine and Dane Scarlett have been called up to the England Euro Elite squad, formerly known as the Under-20s, for games against Romania and Portugal during the international break.
- TRANSFER RUMOURS : – Spurs are apparently going to watch 24 year old striker Kerem Aktutloglu of Galatasaray when they play Bayern Munich in the Champions League, as are 17 other clubs.
As well as Galatasaray central defender Victor Nelsson, Spurs are also keeping an eye on 23 year old French full back Sacha Boey.
Chelsea, Liverpool, Mancashter United and Spurs are all keen on taking 15 year old Julian Hall, a winger with New York Red Bulls, on trial.
Tottenham may be keen on signing Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Pedro Neto to replace Ivan Perisic, a report claims today, after it has been reported that the Croatian winger had a verbal agreement to join Hajduk Spilt in the summer.

- INJURY NEWS : – Manor Solomon has been operated on for a torn meniscus in his knee, with his recovery programmed by the club’s medical team.
- TRANSFER RUMOURS : – Tottenham are reported to be interested in signing Victor Osimhen from SSC Napoli should he leave over his club’s TikTok videos patronising him.

- DoF RUMOURS : – A rumour has emerged today claiming that Mancashter United, Paris Saint Germain and Spurs are keen on taking on Atletico Madrid’s Director of Football Andrea Berta. Aston Villa’s Global Director of Football Johan Lange has allegedly had discussions with Spurs about the Director of Football role at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

- INTERNATIONALS : – Brennan Johnson will miss Wales’ Euro 2024 qualifier against Croatia while Ben Davies will probably captain his country in the game.
- INJURY NEWS : – Winger Manor Solomon has picked up a knee injury in training and will be out of action for 2-3 months.
- TRANSFER RUMOUR : – 27 year old Real Sociedad midfielder Mikel Merino is being linked with interest from Tottenham.
- VAR FURORE : – Unsurprisingly, Jurgen Klopp has said that the match that Liverpool lost on Saturday should be replayed. Unsurprisingly, social media has revealed many other deserving claims for a replay over the years and more than one occasion when Klopp has said that Liverpool scoring a goal that was offside was too bad for the opposition. Hypocritical ? Klopp ? Surely not.

- INTERNATIONALS : – Heung-Min Son ahs been called up to play for South Korea against Tunisia and Vietnam in friendlies next week.
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has been selected in the Danish squad for matches against Kazakhstan and San Marino.
- TRANSFER RUMOURS : – Spurs could be set to raid Sheffield United for another of their young strikers after signing Will Lankshear last season, this time with Daniel Jebbison in their sights, according to stories today. The club have looked at signing him in the past, but his record isn’t great for the Blades, but perhaps a change of scene might help him, but there is no real need to take on another striker with the Under-21s being well-served in that department.
The Spanish media claim that Atletico Madrid are still keen on signing Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg in January.
Tottenham and Shakhtar Donetsk are in talks about agreeing a compensation fee for the signing of Manor Solomon.
Spurs are reported to be interested in signing Stuttgart striker Serhou Guirassy in the January transfer window.

- VAR FURORE : – Liverpool’s appeal against the red card issued to Curtis Jones on a VAR review after an initial yellow card was given has been rejected. He will serve a three match ban.
- UNDER-21s : – Tottenham’s Under-21s beat Chelsea 4-2 at Stevenage FC tonight, with Yago Santiago, Jamie Donley (2) and Nile John the scorers.
- VAR FURORE : – Liverpool are going to appeal against the red card issued to Curtis Jones for his over the top tackle in Saturday’s match. Of course they are.
Football expert, the wife of Diogo Jota, has said that the game was “rigged”.
Alexis MacAllister made comments on social media about Tottenham having “12 men” and so could find himself facing punishment from the FA.
- RACIST ABUSE : – Ignorant racists have been abusing Destiny Udogie on social media after many media people claimed that Diogo Jota should not have been sent off for two fouls on the Spurs player, while Jota indicated that in his valued opinion the Italian had dived.
- VAR FURORE : – Liverpool have issued a statement claiming that yesterday’s error contravenes sporting integrity and will explore a “range of options for escalation and resolution”.
- TRANSFER RUMOURS : – Real Madrid are reported to be interested in Feyenoord striker Santiago Giminez, who is a target for Chelsea, Woolwich Wanderers and Tottenham, with the Dutch club wanting a record fee for his signing.
Spurs are rumoured to be watching Brazilian 19 year old forward Savinho, who is on loan at Spanish side Girona from Ligue 1 Troyes.
Mancashter United are said to be keeping an eye on Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg‘s situation at Spurs, with a potential move for the Dane on the cards if they keep up their poor form.
