font-family: Oswald; font-size: 12pt;\">Spurs were hassled into giving the ball away and Coventry were grateful for the possession, starting most of their attacking moves from this tactic, but Richards headed a cross over the top when well-placed and Fredrick brought trialist Vigouronx into action with a save as he broke into the left hand side of the area, with Barthram shielding the loose ball for the keeper to grab at the second attempt.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000066; font-family: Oswald; font-size: 12pt;\">Spurs took the lead in the 16th minute when Victor Zapata-Caicedo played a one-two with Souleymane Coulibaly on the left and he beat the keeper to his left after picking up the return pass inside the defender.\u00a0\u00a0 Coulibaly showed his strength in the air by forcing Burge to a couple of saves from headers and also his ability on the floor, by taking a long ball down, holding off defenders before playing it to Nabil Bentaleb, who hit a shot into the side netting.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000066; font-family: Oswald; font-size: 12pt;\">In the second half, the same pattern prevailed, as Spurs looked for goals and Coventry tried to play on the break.\u00a0 Two Coventry chances went begging before Coulibaly teed himself up for a volley that the keeper got a hand to and was then kicked off the line.\u00a0 A Kenneth McEvoy cross was headed against the crossbar by a defender and then Coulibaly had two shots wide (one a spectacular scissors&#8217; kick that ended up nearer the corner flag).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000066; font-family: Oswald; font-size: 12pt;\">City had efforts through Baker-Richards (wide) and Fredrick, who forced Vigouronx into a save.\u00a0 In the 79th minute, Coulibaly got on the end of a McEvoy cross to head back across the keeper for Tottenham&#8217;s second goal and then two minutes later dragged a man out to the left before squaring for McEvoy to have a straightforward opportunity to beat the keeper to make it 3-0.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><span style=\"color: #000066; font-family: Oswald; font-size: 12pt;\">Spurs had gone ahead with an own goal from Zaine Angol-Francis&#8217; throw-in to Laste Dombaxe, who fed the ball on to Kudus Oyenuga and the forward&#8217;s low cross was knocked past the Sky Blues keeper by one of his own defenders on 25 minutes.\u00a0 The goal was a little against the run of play, as Coventry had started brightly, but the goal gave Spurs the upper hand for the middle section of the game.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000066; font-family: Oswald; font-size: 12pt;\">Chances were created, but Spurs failed to finish them off and with minutes remaining to half-time, City equalised when Billy Daniels went through, although there was a hint of offside about the goal.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000066; font-family: Oswald; font-size: 12pt;\">At the start of the second half, Tottenham played good football and should have gone back in front when Jack Munns took the ball around the goalie, but his shot struck the upright and with Darren McQueen closing in on the rebound, the keeper recovered to block his effort.\u00a0 Ryan Fredericks continued his comeback from injury as a second half substitute, but although another couple of opportunities presented themselves for Spurs, they went begging and the game ended all square.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000066; font-family: Oswald; font-size: 12pt;\">Only a good save from Jamie Butler kept the score-sheet clean, as Luke Bottomer tried a shot on goal after 20 minutes, but soon after a pass from Tom Carroll put Parrett clean through, but he was aware that Oyenuga was better placed and squared for the forward to get his second and Tottenham&#8217;s fourth.\u00a0 Jake Nicholson grabbed the fifth with a 12 yard shot and it was 6-0 before half-time as Nathan Byrne&#8217;s cross was headed into the path of Dean Parrett to strike home.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000066; font-family: Oswald; font-size: 12pt;\">However, after 20 minutes, Spurs brought the score back to 1-1 when Andros Townsend&#8217;s corner was met by Calum Butcher, who netted the equaliser.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000066; font-family: Oswald; font-size: 12pt;\">The second half saw Spurs&#8217; play becoming a bit disjointed, but this was partly due to Coventry breaking up any moves Tottenham did put together.\u00a0 On 80 minutes, Oscar Jansson made a fine save as a Coventry player went through with only the goalkeeper to beat, but the Swede denied him and kept the scores level.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000066; font-family: Oswald; font-size: 12pt;\">Obika was the creator again, as Mason struck again to make it 3-0 just after the half hour.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000066; font-family: Oswald; font-size: 12pt;\">Coventry got a quick goal back and then reduced the lead to 3-2 a couple of minutes before the half-time whistle.\u00a0 However, Obika scored to put two goals between the teams again ten minutes after the interval.\u00a0 Once more, City hit back immediately, then brought the score to 4-4 within a couple of minutes, before taking the lead.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000066;
