Friday 31st January 2025 On this day in Spurs history 
  • TEAM NEWS : –  Radu Dragusin will not take part in the match at Brentford on Sunday after picking up a knee injury in last night’s match against Elfsborg.  Sergio Reguilon and Djed Spence could both be fit for selection, while Antonin Kinsky is back after not being eligible for the Europa League match.  Still side-lined are James Maddison, Wilson Odobert, Guglielmo Vicario, Destiny Udogie, Timo Werner and Brennan Johnson, who Ange Postecoglou hopes will all be ready to play again in 10 days time, although Cristian Romero may take a little longer to return to first team action.  Micky van de Ven is set to play against the Bees, but will not play the whole 90 minutes.
  • FIXTURE MOVED : –  Tottenham’s away match against Fulham has been moved to Sunday 16th March but the kick off time has not be set as yet.  This fixture is dependant on Tottenham failing to reach the League Cup Final scheduled for the same date.
  • PLAYER OUT : –  West Bromwich Albion have taken Will Lankshear on loan until the end of the season.
  • TRANSFER RUMOURS : –  It is reported in Germany that Mathys Tel has turned down a move to Tottenham from Bayern Munich.
    Spurs are said to be involved in talks with AC Milan to buy former Chelsea central defender Fiyako Tomori. with a verbal agreement with the Serie A club said to be already made for a £25 million fee.
    Apparently, Spurs sent a representative to watch Midtyjlland striker Ousmane Diao. along with a number of other clubs from across Europe.
    Tottenham are still being linked with a move for Brighton & Hove Albion striker Evan Ferguson.
    The stories about a Tottenham move for Mancashter United winger Alejandro Garnacho are circulating again with deadline day approaching.
    AEK Athens are reported to be keen to sign Sergio Reguilon.
    Spurs are supposed to have made a loan bid for Chelsea defender Axel Diasi but it was rejected.
  • UNDER-18s : –  Tomorrow’s Under-18s match at home to Fulham has been postponed until Friday 21st March when the match at Hotspur Way will be kicking off at 11.00.
  • EX-SPURS : –  Striker Kion Etete has joined Bolton Wanderers from Cardiff City on loan until the end of the season.
     
Thursday 30th January 2025 On this day in Spurs history 
  • FIRST TEAM : –  Tottenham beat Elfsborg 3-0 at THS in the Europa League tonight.  MATCH REPORT .
  • TRANSFER RUMOURS : –  One more striker interesting Spurs is Stefanos Tzimas – a 19 year old who plays for PAOK and is currently playing on loan at Nurnberg.
    Tottenham are said to be ready to make a free transfer move for Kyle Walker-Peters as the South Coast Big Club defender’s contract ends in the summer and it is hoped that he will return to N17.
    Rumour has it today that if Tottenham are to bring in Tyler Dibling from South Coast Big Club, the Hampshire side would ask for Tyrese Hall to be part of the deal.
    It is claimed that a medical was being carried out on Mancashter City’s 18 year old midfielder Daniel Batty for a reported £500,000 fee with add-ons and a sell-on clause.
    Spurs are reported to have agreed a £50 million fee to sign Mathys Tel from Bayern Munich, but the player is holding out for a move to Mancashter United for some reason.
     
Wednesday 29th January 2025 On this day in Spurs history 
  • TEAM NEWS : –  Micky van de Ven is fit and will play some part in tomorrow night’s home Europa League match against Elfsborg.  Richarlison, Radu Dragusin, Pape Matar Sarr and Yves Bissouma are all reported to be fit to be considered for the match too.  However, Guglielmo Vicario, Cristian Romero, Destiny Udogie, James Maddison, Timo Werner, Wilson Odobert, Dominic Solanke and Brennan Johnson are all still unavailable through injury and Antonin Kinsky, Djed Spence, Sergio Reguilon and Yang Min-Hyeok are not registered to play in the competition
  • PLAYER OUT : –  Spurs have allowed Yang Min-Hyeok to join QPR on loan until the end of the season to get accustomed to the nature of English football.
  • UNDER-21s : –  Braintree Town beat Spurs Under-21s 3-1 at Cressing Road tonight in the National League Cup with Oliver Irow Tottenham’s goal-scorer.  MATCH REPORT .
  • TRANSFER RUMOURS : –  Spurs are one of a number of Premier League clubs keeping a close eye on QPR’s midfielder Emerson Sutton, but the 18 year old is staying at Loftus Road for the moment.
    There are a lot of stories claiming Tottenham will make a late move for Mancashter United striker Marcus Rashford most likely on a loan deal.
    Other reports link Spurs with moves for either Ipswich Town forward Liam Delap or Ajax striker Brian Brobbey.
    Tottenham are said to be in a “battle” with Mancashter United and Liverpool to sign 21 year old Olympique Lyonnais forward Rayan Cherki.
    Bayern Munich’s striker Mathys Tel has allegedly been offered to Spurs, Woolwich Wanderers and Mancashter United, with the latter claimed to be the youngster’s preferred move.  Spurs are reported to be in “direct talks” with the 19 year old’s agents.
    Brentford forward Youane Wissa is said to be the subject of talks that Spurs are holding with the West London club.
    News out of Italy claims that AC Milan have offered wingers Noah Okafor and Samuel Chukwueze to Tottenham and Newcash United.
  • UNDER-18s : –  Tottenham’s home game against Aston Villa in the Under-18 Premier League set for Saturday 15th February has been postponed because of the Spurs U18s involvement in the FA Youth Cup.
    The Under-18s away game against Woolwich Wanderers, that was postponed a couple of weeks ago because of a frozen pitch, has been arranged to be played on Saturday 19th April at London Colney with the match kicking off at 11.00.
     
Tuesday 28th January 2025 On this day in Spurs history 
  • INJURY NEWS : –  James Maddison could be out of action for 2-3 weeks with a calf injury.  However, Micky van de Ven is back in intensive training and could be returning to the side in the next week or so.
  • TRANSFER RUMOURS : –  Stories today link Spurs with a late transfer window interest in AS Monaco striker Breel Embolo.
    Spurs might loan out Hyeok-Min Yang before the end of the transfer window.
    A loan to buy deal for Tottenham to sign South Coast Big Club winger Tyler Dibling is being reported in the media today.
    18 year old Lorient striker Eli Junior Kroupi is being courted by Spurs and Chelsea, with the youngster rated at £30 million.
     
Monday 27th January 2025 On this day in Spurs history 
  • TRANSFER RUMOURS : –   Reports today  claim that Tottenham are going to make a £49 million bid for Atletico Bilbao’s 22 year old striker Nico Williams.
    Spurs are rumoured to be interested in Rangers’ Moroccan striker Hamza Igamane.
    Talks are said to be in progress for Tottenham to sign South Coast Big Club winger Tyler Dibling and Lille midfielder Angel Gomes in the summer.

  • FIRST TEAM : –   Tottenham lost 1-2 to Leicester City at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this afternoon.  MATCH REPORT .
  • UNDER-21s : –  Liverpool were the visitors to Hotspur Way this afternoon and Spurs Under-21s beat them 2-0 with goals from Rio Kyerematen and Oliver Irow.
  • TRANSFER RUMOURS : –   Tottenham’s interest in Feyenoord central defender David Hancko is being raised in the rumours today.
    19 year old Sutton United central defender Jack Taylor has come to the attention of Spurs.
     
Saturday 25th January 2025 On this day in Spurs history 
  • TRANSFER RUMOUR : –   Timo Werner may be considering a move to New York Red Bulls after it has been mooted he may be recalled to RB Leipzig, with both clubs being in the controversial Red Bull group of clubs.
  • UNDER-18s : –  Tottenham’s Under-18 drew 1-1 away at Crystal Palace with Ellis Lehane finding the net from the penalty spot.
     
Friday 24th January 2025 On this day in Spurs history 
  • TEAM NEWS : –   Djed Spence is the latest doubt for Sunday’s home match against Leicester City.  Tottenham already have Pape Matar Sarr as a doubt, while Brennan Johnson, Yves Bissouma, Dominic Solanke, Cristian Romero, Micky van de Ven, Guglielmo Vicario, Destiny Udogie, Timo Werner and Wilson Odobert are all out injured.
  • PLAYER OUT : –  Under-21 keeper Luca Gunter has joined Wealdstone on loan until the end of the season.
  • TRANSFER RUMOURS : –  Reports reckon that Ajax striker Brian Brobbey is in London with Tottenham and West Ham United London said to be interested in signing the 22 year old, while other stories reckon Spurs have little interest in bringing him to N17 and others still claim it may be  a loan deal that Tottenham are after although yet more articles report that Ajax are uninterested in loaning the winger out preferring a permanent deal.
    Spurs are claimed to be in talks with South Coast Big Club about the transfer of 18 year old winger Tyler Dibling.
    Tottenham may be seeking a loan deal for Brighton & Hove Albion’s 20 year old striker Evan Ferguson, if the Seagulls will allow him to leave.
    Sheffield United’s 18 year old striker Ryan One is attracting interest from Spurs and Liverpool.
     
Thursday 23rd January 2025 On this day in Spurs history 
  • FIRST TEAM : –   Tottenham beat TSG Hoffenheim 1899 3-2 at the PreZero Arena tonight.  MATCH REPORT .
  • INJURY NEWS : –  It was revealed today that Dominic Solanke will be out of action for about six weeks with the knee injury he picked up recently.
  • TRANSFER RUMOURS : –  It is claimed that Spurs have made contact with Feyenoord about the possibility of signing striker Santiago Giminez, who scored twice in their 3-0 win over Bayern Munich in the Champions League last night, although the Mexican is said to be more likely to move to Italy.
    Tottenham are said to be seeking a loan-to-buy deal for Barcelona forward Ansu Fati.
    Juventus midfielder Douglas Luiz is reported to be a target for Spurs in this transfer window.
     
Wednesday 22nd January 2025 On this day in Spurs history 
  • INJURY NEWS : –   Pape Matar Sarr limped out of training today before being ruled out of the squad that departed for Germany to meet TSG 1899 Hoffenheim tomorrow in the Europa League.  Rodrigo Bentancur is available after his concussion, although Spurs are still without the injured Cristian Romero, Timo Werner, Brennan Johnson, Wilson Odobert, Mickey van der Ven, Dominic Solanke, Yves Bissouma, Destiny Udogie and Guglielmo Vicario, while Djed Spence, Sergio Reguilon, Hyeok-Min Yang and Antonin Kinsky are all ineligible, having been omitted from the Europa League squad.
  • TRANSFER RUMOURS : –  The Italian press claim that Tottenham are one of the teams across Europe who have been offered 24 year old Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic, who has fallen out of favour at the Serie A club.
    Representatives from Spurs are said to be working on the £34 million signing of Lecce defender Patrick Dorgu.
    There is speculation that if midfielder Tyler Dibling leaves South Coast Big Club, then his preferred destination is Tottenham, although any move may not take place in the January transfer window with a minimum of £55 million wanted for the 18 year old.
    Another player that Spurs are linked with who might not be arriving any time soon (if at all) is Ecuadorian central defender Piero Hincapie of Bayer Leverkusen.
    There’s s rumour today that Spurs are one of a number of clubs looking at Barcelona’s ex-Mancashter City defender Eric Garcia.

Tuesday 21st January 2025 On this day in Spurs history 
  • CONTRACT : –  : –  Young midfielder George Feeney has signed his first professional contract with the club.
  • INJURY NEWS : –  Rumour has it that Yves Bissouma will be out for at least two weeks with his hamstring injury.
  • TRANSFER RUMOURS : –  Italy may be a country Spurs are keen on signing players from (not surprising as Fabio Paratici is advising the club on transfers), with Lecce left back Patrick Dorgu and Udinese central defender Thomas Kristensen the names in the frame today.
    South coast Big Club midfielder Tyler Dibling is supposedly a transfer target for Tottenham this January, but it is unlikely that the relegation threatened side would be willing to sell.
    With Dominic Solanke‘s injury, Spurs are allegedly considering making a move for Ipswich Town striker Rory Delap.
    Tottenham are still being linked with Mancashter City midfielder Jack Grealish, although his massive wages may be some sort of problem for the club.
     
Monday 20th January 2025 On this day in Spurs history 
  • FA YOUTH CUP : –  Tottenham beat Grimsby Town 5-3 after extra time at Blundell Park tonight in the FA Youth Cup Fourth Round.  The match ended 3-3 after 90 minutes, but goals from Luca Williams-Barnett, Tynan Thompson, Ellis Lehane, Jun’ai Byfield and Ronny Moncur sealed a Fifth Round tie away at Watford.
  • TRANSFER RUMOUR : –  A rumour today links Tottenham with a move for Chelsea defender Tosin Adarabioyo.
     
Sunday 19th January 2025 On this day in Spurs history 
  • FIRST TEAM : –  Tottenham lost 2-3 to Everton at Goodison Park this afternoon.  MATCH REPORT .
  • INJURY UPDATE : –  Ange Postecoglou gave news on the latest injuries, with Brennan Johnson out for 3-4 weeks and Dominic Solanke side-lined for 2-3 weeks at least.

Friday 17th January 2025 On this day in Spurs history 
  • TEAM NEWS : –  Timo Werner will be out of action with a hamstring injury for 2-3 weeks and is another injury absentee, along with Cristian Romero, Micky van de Ven, Guglielmo Vicario, Destiny Udogie, Wilson Odobert and Rodrigo Bentancur.  Brennan Johnson and Yves Bissouma are both doubtful with injuries picked up in Wednesday’s match, but Ben Davies is available again after being side-lined with a hamstring injury.
  • FA CUP : –  Tottenham’s FA Cup Fourth Round tie will be played against Aston Villa at Villa Park on Sunday 9th February with a 17.35 kick off.  The match will be screened on BBC1 and BBC iPlayer.
  • FIXTURE CHANGE : –  The Spurs home Premier League match against Mancashter City will be played on Wednesday 26th February kicking off at 19.30 and will be shown live on TNT Sports.

  • TAMWORTH ABUSE : – Ange Postecoglou has hit out at the vile abuse directed at him by about 10% of the Tamworth crowd at Sunday’s Third Round FA Cup tie, as well as explaining that objects were thrown at him by the same section of the home crowd.
  • TRANSFER RUMOURS : –  Tottenham are rumoured to be interested in OGC Nice striker Evann Guessand, who is rated at £20 million.
    The rumours linking Spurs to Internazionale defender Alessandro Bastoni have re-emerged today.
    Young striker Will Lankshear may be loaned out in January with Sunderland and Hill City said to be keen on acquiring his services.

  • CONTRACT AND LOAN : –  Defender Alfie Dorrington has signed a new deal with Spurs keeping him at the club until 2029 and has gone on loan to Aberdeen until the end of the season.
  • TRANSFER RUMOURS : –  Real Madrid want to buy Archie Gray for £50 million.
    Stoke City are hoping to take Tyrese Hall on loan this month.
    Apparently, SSC Napoli are exploring a move for Timo Werner.
     
Sunday 12th January 2025 On this day in Spurs history 
  • FIRST TEAM : –  Tottenham beat Tamworth 3-0 after extra time in the Third Round of the FA Cup at the Lamb Ground this afternoon.  MATCH REPORT .
  • FA CUP FOURTH ROUND : –  The FA Cup Fourth Round draw has been made and Spurs will be away to Aston Villa during the weekend of February 8th.
  • TRANSFER RUMOURS : –  Aberdeen are reported to be keen to take Alfie Dorrington on loan.
    Chelsea and Spurs are both said to be interested in West Bromwich Albion’s 26 year old striker Josh Maja, who Tottenham have been interested in for a number of years.
     
Saturday 11th January 2025 On this day in Spurs history 
  • TEAM NEWS : –  Ahead of Tottenham’s FA Cup tie tomorrow at Tamworth, Ange Postecoglou confirmed that Toni Kinsky will start in goal and that Mikey Moore will join him, but Rodrigo Bentancur, Richarlison, Cristian Romero, Wilson Odobert, Micky van de Ven, Guglielmo Vicario, Ben Davies and Destiny Udogie are all out injured.  Pape Matar Sarr and James Maddison will be able to play after being banned in midweek’s League Cup tie.  There will be some changes to the team, as players will be rotated to give some a break in the busy schedule of matches.
  • UNDER-18s : –  The Tottenham Under-18s match at Arsenal was postponed today because of a frozen pitch.
  • TRANSFER RUMOURS : –  The David Fratessi to Spurs rumours are in a lot of reports today, with the Internazionale midfielder priced at around £27 million.
    Ange Postecoglou confirmed that Timo Werner will see out his loan to the end of the season as the Spurs Head Coach is keen to keep him amidst the long injury list at the club.

  • TRANSFER RUMOURS : –  St. Patrick Athletic’s 17 year old striker Mason Melia is being linked with an approach by Spurs in the January transfer window, although he would not be able to come to England until he is 18, as the UK is outside the EU.
    Eintracht Frankfurt are said to be keen to sign Timo Werner.

  • PLAYER OUT : –  Midfielder Matthew Craig returned form his loan spell at Barnsley and has gone straight out again, this time to Mansfield Town until the end of the season.
  • TRANSFER RUMOURS : –  A rumour today claims that Tottenham are eyeing a move for 22 year old Feyenoord winger Anis Hadj Moussa.
    With an option agreed under the deal that took Giovani Lo Celso to Real Betis, Spurs are keen to go through with the signing of American midfielder Johnny Cardoso.
  • UNDER-21s FIXTURES : –  The Spurs Under-21 side will play Derby County at their training ground tomorrow (10th January) with a 19.00 kick off after the original fixture was postponed.
    The postponed National League Cup fixture away at Braintree Town has been re-arranged for Wednesday 29th January with the match kicking off at 19.45 at Cressing Road.

  • TRANSFER RUMOURS : –  Juventus midfielder Douglas Luiz is a player Spurs are quoted as being interested in signing according to the Italian media.
    Leeds United are said to have an interest in Ben Davies.
    The Daily Mail claim that Spurs are looking at bringing in Mancashter United striker Marcus Rashford on loan, but other reports have his agents flying to Italy to meet with AC Milan about a possible move.
    Lille striker Jonathan David is apparently a £25 million target for Tottenham.
    Spurs have been offered the opportunity to sign Internazionale midfielder Davide Frattesi, but they want 45-50 million Euros, while a 30 million Euro fee may be more reasonable.
    Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite is being rumoured as a potential Spurs transfer target, but he may be valued at £80 million, which could put the club off the move.
    A cheaper alternative at centre-half could be Borussia Monchengladbach’s Japanese international Ko Itakura.
    It is rumoured that Spurs are looking at Borussia Dortmund forward Donyell Malen, who is believed to be available for around £25 million.

  • TEAM NEWS : –  James Maddison and Pape Matar Sarr are unavailable for tomorrow’s League Cup semi-final against Liverpool at the Tottenham Hotspurs Stadium as they are suspended.  Also out for Spurs are Richarlison, Micky van de Ven, Cristian Romero, Ben Davies, Destiny Udogie, and Guglielmo Vicario.  Mikey Moore is a possibility to make the bench after recovering from his virus and new keeper Antonin Kinsky is registered, so could play depending on his .
  • TRANSFER RUMOUR : –  Colombian midfielder Richard Rios, who plays for Brazilian club Palmeiras, has allegedly been approached by Spurs, but the bid to sign the 24 year old has reportedly been rejected.

  • TRANSFER RUMOURS : –  Tottenham are reported to hold an interest in Feyenoord’s Brazilian winger Igor Paixao, who is 24 and priced at around £29 million.
    Some stories claim that Daniel Levy and Johan Lange have flown to France to complete the loan signing of £55 million Randal Kolo Muani from Paris Saint Germain.
    According to some sources, Barcelona are hoping to sign Heung-Min Son on a free transfer in the summer.
    It is rumoured that Crystal Palace and Spurs have contacted RC Lens about their French international midfielder Andy Diouf.
    Girona are keen to sign loanee Bryan Gil on a permanent basis, but want to negotiate a price lower than 15 million Euros put into the loan deal.
    A lot of stories today are strongly linking Tottenham with a move for Udinese’s 22 year-old Danish central defender Thomas Kristensen who is priced at £16.5 million.
    The interest Spurs had in getting Lille’s English midfielder Angel Gomes to sign a pre-contract agreement to join on a free transfer in the summer may be brought forward with an intention to bring the move forward to this transfer window.
    Sunderland midfielder Jobe Bellingham is again being linked with a move to Tottenham, although this could be unlikely with the Black Cats pushing for promotion.
    Tottenham midfielder Matthew Craig is falling out of favour on loan at Barnsley and may be recalled, with Doncaster Rovers and Mansfield Town both keen on taking him on loan until the end of the season.
  • EX-SPURS : –  Former Spurs striker Robbie Keane has been given the manager’s job at Hungarian side Ferencvaros.
    Tottenham Academy product – midfielder Jamie Bowden – has announced his retirement from playing football after not being able to recover from an ankle injury suffered in 2022.
    Former Spurs striker and free agent Keanan Bennetts has signed for Austria Klagenfurt until the end of the season.

  • PLAYER IN : –   The signing of Slavia Prague and Czech Republic Under-21 goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky have been confirmed, with the 21 year old penning a six year deal that has cost Spurs a reported £12.5 million.  His squad number will be 31.
  • TRANSFER RUMOURS : –  It is reported that Spurs had made a move for 24 year old Bayern Munich keeper Daniel Peretz, but an injury to Manuel Neuer has put paid to a deal for the German side’s back up goalie.
    Tottenham are one of six Premier League clubs who are interested in signing Brighton & Hove Albion striker Evan Ferguson this month.

Friday 3rd January 2025 On this day in Spurs history 
  • TEAM NEWS : –   It has been confirmed that Destiny Udogie will be out for six weeks with his hamstring injury so will miss the visit of Newcash United along with Richarlison, Ben Davies, Wilson Odobert, Guglielmo Vicario, Mick van de Ven, Cristian Romero and Mikey Moore who are all out injured or ill.  However, Ange Postecoglou has Djed Spence back after a one match suspension, although Rodrigo Bentancur misses the game with a one match ban for picking up five yellow cards.  There may be more absentees, as the club have had a bug affecting the remainder of the squad and a late decision will be made about who will be fit to play.
  • INJURY UPDATE : –  In his press conference, Ange Postecoglou gave news on return dates for some of the injured players.  Mikey Moore and Richarlison should be returning to training next week, with Micky van de Ven, Ben Davies and Cristian Romero back by the end of the January, while Guglielmo Vicario could be back at Hotspur Way at the end of February.
  • CONTRACTS : –  Under-21 striker Damola Ajayi has signed a new deal with Tottenham that extends his time with the club until 2028.
    Fellow Under-21 star Yusuf Akhamrich, who plays left wing or left back, has also signed until 2028.
  • TRANSFER RUMOURS : –   Spurs, Mancashter City and Newcash United are all reported to be interested in Lens centre-back Abdukodir Khusanov.
    Tottenham and Woolwich Wanderers are said to be interested in Stuttgart’s 22 year-old star midfielder Enzo Millot.
