- CONTRACT : – Midfielder and Under-18 captain Tye Hall has signed a new deal with Spurs.
- TRANSFER RUMOURS : – It is reported in the French press that OSC Lille, AS Monaco, Marseille, Paris FC, Hamburg, Sunderland, Genoa, Eintracht Frankfurt, Real Sociedad, Atletico Madrid and various Turkish clubs were all allegedly interested in taking Mathys Tel on loan, but Spurs have rejected them as they want to keep Mathys at the THS.

- SUSPENSION : – Cristian Romero has been handed an additional one match ban by the FA for aggressive behaviour towards officials and not leaving the pitch swiftly when he received a red card. - TERRY YORATH : – It was announced today that former Spurs midfielder Terry Yorath died today. The energetic Welshman joined Spurs in the summer of 1979 to add some steel to our midfield of Ardiles, Hoddle and Villa in the First Division and stayed until February 1981, when he moved to Vancouver Whitecaps. MEHSTG sends its condolences to his family and friends at this terrible time for them.
- INJURY NEWS : – Following a scan on his quad muscle injury, Mohammed Kudus will be missing from the Tottenham team until March.
Rodrigo Bentancur picked up a hamstring injury last night at Bournemouth.
Lucas Bergvall is being checked after his injury last night.
Dejan Kulusevski has had a pain-killing injection and his progress will be assessed in 3-4 weeks.

- MARTIN CHIVERS : – It was announced today that the Tottenham centre-forward of the late 1960s to mid-1970s Martin Chivers had died today, aged 80. He led the line in Bill Nicholson’s team that won two League Cups and a UEFA Cup and was present at Spurs matches up to this Christmas. A true Tottenham legend, he will be much missed and our condolences go out to his family and friends at this sad time.
