1964 A star studded side turned out to play in a match to raise funds for John White’s family.  The mercurial midfielder had been struck by lightning on an Enfield golf course and killed tragically. John White’s brother Tommy, a centre-forward who played in Scotland, played and scored as a guest in a Tottenham team that lost 2-6 to a Scotland XI, with Tony Marchi scoring the other Spurs goal.
