- TRANSFER RUMOURS : – Tottenham’s interest in Sampdoria’s Danish winger Mikael Damsgaard could be re-kindled after the player has been out injured for five months.
Oxford United’s 22 year old central defender Luke McNally has been the subject of a £2 million offer from Spurs according to today’s news.
Patrik Schick of Bayer Leverkusen is of interest to Spurs, with the Czech striker also attracting a following of a number of other Premier League clubs.
20 year old Blackburn Rovers forward Tyrhys Dolan is a player Spurs are keeping an eye on, although Brighton & Hove Albion are favourites to sign him.
23 year old Wolfsburg and Egypt striker Omar Marmoush is a player that both Woolwich Wanderers and Tottenham are keen on.

- INTERNATIONALS : – Rodrigo Bentancur played 74 minutes of Uruguay’s 2-0 away World Cup qualifying win against Chile earlier today before being substituted.
Colombia beat Venezuela 1-0 in an away World Cup qualifier this morning with Davinson Sanchez playing the whole match.
- TRANSFER RUMOUR : – Manchester United consider that by including Anthony Martial as part of a deal to take Harry Kane to Old Trafford will encourage Spurs to jump at the opportunity.
- CONTRACTS : – Development squad defender Charlie Sayers has signed his first professional contract with the club.

- INTERNATIONALS : – Harry Kane came on as a 62nd minute substitute for England in their 3-0 win over Ivory Coast at Wembley in a friendly tonight, as former Spurs defender and Ivory Coast captain Serge Aurier was sent off in the first half.
Sweden lost 0-2 to Poland in a World Cup qualifying play-off final tonight, with Dejan Kulusevski playing the whole match.
Maksim Paskotsi was an unused substitute for Estonia in their 0-2 away Nations League relegation play-off.
Heung-Min Son captained South Korea throughout their 0-1 World Cup qualifying group match against United Arab Emirates today.
Holland drew 1-1 at home to Germany in a friendly tonight, with Steven Bergwijn scoring after coming on as a substitute in the 58th minute.
Hugo Lloris was an unused substitute as France beat South Africa 5-0 in a home friendly tonight.
Senegal beat Egypt 1-0 tonight in the second leg of a World Cup qualifying play-off, with the aggregate score ending 1-1 after extra time, with Senegal going through to the finals in Qatar on penalties. Pape Matar Sarr came off the bench in the 114th minute
Troy Parrott was a 63rd minute substitute for the Republic of Ireland and scored the only goal of the friendly at home to Lithuania tonight in the seventh minute of added time.
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg played 67 minutes of Denmark’s 3-0 home friendly win over Serbia today, with Christian Eriksen scoring one of the goals.
Joe Rodon was used as a 61st minute substitute in Wales’ 1-1 home friendly draw with the Czech Republic tonight.
Kallum Cesay scored twice on his debut for Sierra Leone as they beat Congo Republic 2-1 in a friendly in Turkey today, before the Spurs man was substituted in the 75th minute.
England Under-17s lost 0-2 to Luxembourg in the European Championship qualifying match tonight with Rio Kyerematen being replaced in the 69th minute and Jamie Donley sent off in the 89th minute.
Will Andiyapan replaced his Spurs team-mate George Abbott in the 62nd minute as Wales Under-17s lost 2-4 to Serbia in the European Championship qualifying match today.
Thomas Bloxham played all of the Republic of Ireland Under-17s 2-2 draw with Bulgaria in the European Championship qualifying match this afternoon.
Matthew Craig played all of Scotland Under-19s 0-1 defeat by Israel in their European Championship qualifying match today.
England Under-21s beat Portugal 2-0 this evening in the European Championship qualifying match tonight with Dane Scarlett scoring twice before being substituted in the 76th minute and Alfie Devine played the first half of the match before being replaced.
Bryan Gil scored once in the 82 minutes he played for Spain Under-21s in their 3-2 win over Serbia in the European Championship qualifying match today.
Thimothee Lo-Tutala was in goal for France Under-19s as they came from behind to beat Bosnia-Herzogovina away 2-1 in their European Championship qualifying match today.
- TRANSFER RUMOURS : – Harry Kane‘s replacement should he leave Tottenham is today reported to be AS Roma forward Tammy Abraham.
Alternatively, it could be Torino forward Andrea Belotti who comes in during the summer.
The Evening Standard has the move for Gareth Bale back on, with a contract leading up to the World Cup rumoured. The article then goes on to say it might not be Spurs that the Welsh international opts to join !
Rumour from Italy reckons Spurs might be in the market for Andrea Cambiaso – the Genoa midfielder – who could be available for as little as £12 million in the summer.
Apparently, today, Spurs have no interest in signing Barcelona forward Memphis Depay.
Benfica striker Darwin Nunez could be a player that Spurs pursue in the summer but face competition from a number of clubs and also having to pay a large transfer fee.
- CONTRACTS : – Goalkeeper Brandon Austin has signed a new deal with the club that will run until 2024.
15 year old Leo Black is expected to be offered a contract with the club as they seek to secure the England Under-16 midfielder in the Academy for next season.

- TRANSFER RUMOURS : – The Swedish Bologna midfielder Mattias Svanberg is back on Tottenham’s wish list for the summer according to reports today.
Spurs are claimed to be favourites to sign Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Yves Bissoma.
Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Adama Traore may be on Tottenham’s radar again, as Barcelona may lack the funds to complete his loan transfer into a permanent one in the summer.
The Daily Express claims Spurs are among a number of clubs interested in 19 year old Reims striker Hugo Ekitike.

- TRANSFER RUMOURS : – The Sun reports that South Coast Big Club and Crystal Palace are both keen on signing Harry Winks.
Spurs are asking for £40 million if AS Roma are intent on signing Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.

- INTERNATIONALS : – Harry Kane captained England against Switzerland tonight and scored a penalty in their 2-1 friendly win at Wembley.
Steven Bergwijn scored twice in the 77 minutes he played for Holland against Denmark in their 4-2 friendly win. Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg played the whole game for Denmark and Christian Eriksen returned to international football as a half-time substitute and scored two minutes later with his first touch.
Matt Doherty played all 90 minute s of the Republic of Ireland’s 2-2 friendly draw with Belgium, with Troy Parrott coming off the bench in the 92nd minute.
Jamie Donley featured for England’s Under-17s for 62 minutes before being substituted as France beat them 3-1 in their home European Championship Elite Round qualifying match. Rio Kyerematen came on as a substitute in the 90th minute.
The Republic of Ireland Under-17 side lost 2-3 at home in their qualifying Elite Round match to Finland, with Thomas Bloxham coming on in the 65th minute.
George Abbott played 83 minutes and Will Andiyapan the full 90 minutes as Wales lost 2-5 away to Turkey in their European Championship Elite Round qualifying match.
Matthew Craig came on for his brother and former Spurs Development squad midfielder Michael in the 67th minute as Scotland Under-19s lost 0-3 to Hungary Under-19s in a European Championship qualifying Elite group match.
England Under-19s beat Armenia 4-0 this afternoon in a European Championship Elite group Qualifier, with Alfie Devine scoring the first goal in his 73 minutes on the pitch, while Dane Scarlett was an unused substitute.

West Ham United London (away) – Monday 4th April with a 19.00 kick-off will take place at Rush Green instead of the Taxpayers Stadium.
Chelsea (away) will be on Friday 15th April (19.00 kick-off) at Kingsmeadow after being postponed last month.
- TRANSFER RUMOUR : – Spurs have reportedly sent scouts to watch Spain Under-19 internationals Jesus Vasquez and Cristhian Mosquera, both of Valencia. Representatives of Woolwich Wanderers, Manchester City and Liverpool were also watching the left-sided defenders, who shone in the 2-2 draw with Austria.

- INTERNATIONALS : – Heung-Min Son captained and scored once in South Korea’s 2-0 home win over Iran to cement their place at the World Cup Finals later this year.
Wales beat Austria 2-1 in their World Cup Qualifying semi-final tonight with Ben Davies and Joe Rodon playing the whole game, with Davies scoring an own goal.
Dejan Kulusevski played all 120 minutes of Sweden’s 1-0 extra time win over the Czech Republic in their World Cup Qualifying semi-final tonight in Stockholm.
Davinson Sanchez was an unused substitute in Colombia’s 3-0 World Cup qualifying win over Bolivia today.
Maksim Paskotsi played 80 minutes of Estonia’s 0-0 home draw with Cyprus this evening in a Nations League relegation play-off.

- JERMAIN DEFOE : – Former Spurs striker Jermain Defoe has announced his retirement from playing football at the age of 39.
- HOTSPUR WAY : – Tottenham have submitted a planning application to Enfield Council to build an extension on the first team building to provide a media centre.
- CONTRACT NEWS : – Academy goalkeeper Luca Gunter has signed his first professional contract with Spurs.

- TRANSFER RUMOURS : – Red Bull Salzburg striker Roko Simic is wanted by Spurs and Woolwich Wanderers, with the 18 year old performing well for Austrian Second Division side FC Liefering on loan this season.
The Sun reckon that Spurs, Manchester City and Newcash United are all watching Crystal Palace’s left wing back Tyrick Mitchell.
PSV Eindhoven’s 21 year old winger Cody Gakpo is a summer target for Barcelona, Woolwich Wanderers, Bayern Munich and Tottenham, according to the Express.
- INTERNATIONALS : – Dane Scarlett and Alfie Devine both played 66 minutes of England Under-19s 3-1 win over the Republic of Ireland at Walsall FC tonight with Scarlett scoring a fifth minute header to give England the lead.
Scotland Under-19s won 2-1 against Turkey in Hungary in a European Championship qualifier this afternoon and Matthew Craig played 82 minutes before being substituted.

- FRANK SMITH : – The club announced today that Frank Smith, the former keeper who played for Spurs’ reserve and ‘A’ Teams from 1953 to 1962, died on 10th March, aged 85. Our condolences go out to his friends and family.

- TRANSFER RUMOURS : – Spurs may return to Spain to make a move for Villarreal central defender Pau Torres in the summer, after failing previously to tempt him away from the La Liga club according to reports today.
The Daily Express run a story claiming Tottenham and Woolwich Wanderers are keen on signing Galatasaray’s winger Kerem Akturkoglu in the summer.
A number of stories today claim that Antonio Conte has given Spurs the nod that he is willing for Sergio Reguilon to be sold in the summer transfer window.
Tottenham are also linked with a move for Juventus midfielder Juan Cuadrado.
Aberdeen defender Calvin Ramsay will be a target for Spurs at the end of the season, but they will face a lot of competition for the signing of the teenager.

- TRANSFER RUMOURS : – The Daily Express claims that Barcelona’s interest in Tottenham left wing-back Sergio Reguilon may involve Memphis Depay or Clement Lenglet making the journey to N17. However, later reports from Spain reckon that the Barcelona Technical Team have decided against signing Reguilon.
Victor Osimhen is a £95 million target for Spurs, as they would replace Harry Kane with the Napoli and Nigeria forward.
- UNDER-18s : – Birmingham City visited Hotspur Way this afternoon and lost their Under-18s Premier League match to Spurs 7-0. Jaden Williams scored five of the goals and provided assists for the other two goals for George Abbott and Rio Kyerematen.

- TEAM NEWS : – Japhet Tanganga has had an operation on his right knee and will miss the rest of the season. Tottenham will additionally be without Oliver Skipp and Ryan Sessegnon for Sunday’s home match against West Ham United London.
- UNDER-23s : – Spurs Under-23s beat Leicester City 3-1 at Stevenage FC tonight. Tottenham’s goal-scorers were Yago Santiago, Alfie Devine and an own goal.

A story from Spain claims that Sergio Reguilon has been offered to Barcelona by his agents, as he is dissatisfied with the amount of game time he is being given.

In Italy, they reckon that Arsenal want to sign Steven Bergwijn for £15 million !
Paris Saint Germain are reported to have opened discussions with Antonio Conte about becoming their next manager, with a clause in his Spurs contract allowing him to leave in the summer.
- TONY MARCHI : – The club have announced that the former Spurs midfielder of the late 1950s and 1960s, Tony Marchi, died last night. Our condolences go to his family and friends at this sad time.

Brentford (away) Saturday 23rd April 2022 – will now kick off at 17.30 (Sky Sports)
Leicester City (home) Saturday 30th April 2022 – will take place with a at 15.00 kick off as long as Leicester are not involved in the Europa League semi-final. If they reach that stage of the competition, the fixture will be moved to Sunday 1st May with the kick off to be confirmed.
- MEHSTG’s VIEW : – There has been quite a bit of reaction to Cristian Romero’s celebrating in Harry Maguire’s face after the lumbering Manchester United central defender put through his own goal. I’m not sure what all the fuss is about … don’t you normally congratulate the player who has scored for you ?

- TRANSFER RUMOURS : – Spurs are reported to be interested in AC Monaco’s 17 year old midfielder Mamadou Coulibaly, who may cost around £40 million.
Also likely to cost £40 million (which now appears to be the going rate for a midfielder) is Sporting Lisbon’s 23 year old Matheus Nunes, who Spurs are linked with today.
From Spain comes a claim that Tottenham have made an offer to Barcelona to buy Dutch striker Memphis Depay.
Manchester United are allegedly thinking about making a summer move for Harry Kane.

- TRANSFER RUMOUR : – One part of the Italian media has issued a story claiming Spurs will sign Romelu Lukaku for £84 million from Chelsea when Harry Kane signs for Manchester City for 140 million Euros.

- UNDER-23s : – The Spurs Under-23s lost 1-7 away to Liverpool this afternoon. J’Neil Bennett scored the Tottenham goal.

- TRANSFER RUMOURS : – Newcash United will apparently make a move to sign Harry Kane in the summer transfer window.
Spurs are believed to be one of three clubs watching Carlos Soler, the Valencia midfielder.
Following their dramatic collapse to Real Madrid to crash out of the Champions League, Paris Saint Germain are believed to have approached Fabio Paratici to take over as their Director of Football Operations.

- TEAM NEWS : – Spurs will travel to Old Trafford for Saturday’s match with Manchester United missing the services of Oliver Skipp, Japhet Tanganga and Ryan Sessegnon, who will be out for three to four weeks with a hamstring injury.
- TRANSFER RUMOURS : – Liverpool defender Joe Gomez looks set to leave Liverpool, with Tottenham linked with making a move for him in today’s media. Newcash United, Leicester City and West Ham United London are also reported to be interested in the 24 year old centre-half.
Liverpool and Tottenham are both keen on Ajax’s 19 year old international midfielder Ryan Gravenberch.
- UNDER-17s : – Spurs Under-17s reached the Under-17 Premier League Cup final with a 3-1 away win over Charlton Athletic at Dartford FC tonight. Goals from Rio Kyerematen, Jamie Donley and Charlie Sayers saw Tottenham through to meet Manchester City in the final.
- OTHER NEWS : – Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has been sanctioned by the UK government, so his assets are frozen and he cannot make a profit from selling the West London club. A licence has been given by the government to allow the team to play matches, but they are unable to buy any players; limited in how much they can spend on travelling to games, providing security for home matches; they cannot sell any further tickets to home games so only season ticket holders can attend and the club shop is closed. Shirt sponsors 3 have asked for branding to be removed from the club’s shorts and around the ground.
- MEHSTG SPIN STORY : – Rumours are circulating today that former Chelsea owner Ken Bates is keen to take the club off Roman Abramovich’s hands for £1 so that he doesn’t make a profit on the deal.

- TRANSFER RUMOURS : – Spurs and Woolwich Wanderers are reported to be interested in signing Barcelona defender Clement Lenglet.
The German media are claiming Tottenham are after Borussia Monchengladbach winger Jonas Hoffman, but at 29 years of age, he would not be a signing that fits in with Tottenham’s profile for incoming players.
Atletico Madrid are keen on signing Emerson Royal if a fee of around £20 million can be agreed, a report reckons today. Internazionale are also claimed to be interested in the Brazilian.

- TRANSFER RUMOUR : – Croatian defender Borna Sosa has been telling the media that he has an agreement to leave Stuttgart in the summer, with Spurs and Woolwich Wanderers keen on the 24 year old left sided full-back/wing-back.

- MANAGER RUMOUR : – Former Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino is reported as wanting to return to take charge at Tottenham, as it looks likely that he will leave Paris Saint Germain in the summer.
- TRANSFER RUMOURS : – It is reported that Joe Rodon has set his heart on leaving Tottenham this summer.
Spurs are claimed to be leading the pack of clubs interested in signing Torino’s 24 year old Brazilian central defender Bremer, who might cost £33 million.
- FIXTURE CHANGE : – Tottenham’s home game against West Ham United London will now kick off at 16.30 instead of 14.00 on Sunday 20th March after an application by Sky Sports to screen the match live.
- UNDER-18s : – Spurs Under-18s lost 0-1 to Fulham at Hotspur Way this afternoon.

- TEAM NEWS : – Both Lucas Moura and Rodrigo Bentancur will be available for Monday night’s home game against Everton, but Japhet Tanganga and Oliver Skipp are still ruled out as they overcome injuries.
- UNDER-23s : – Our Under-23 team lost out to Woolwich Wanderers 1-2 in an away Premier League 2 match tonight, with Alfie Devine scoring Tottenham’s goal and Matthew Craig receiving a red card 17 minutes from time.

- TRANSFER RUMOURS : – FC Porto’s midfielder Vitinha is a summer transfer target for Spurs and SS Lazio according to reports today. He had a spell on loan at Wolverhampton Wanderers last season and they are also keen on signing the 22 year old.
Tottenham are among a large number of clubs watching the situation of Middlesbrough right back Isaiah Jones, 22, however, the Daily Mail reckon Spurs are favourites to sing Boro’s on loan right back Djed Spence.
Sporting Lisbon midfielder Joao Palhinha may be offered to Tottenham as well as Wolverhampton Wanderers, Newcash United, Manchester United and other Premier League clubs in the summer.
Spurs are one of a number of clubs keen on buying VfB Stuttgart and Austria striker Sasa Kalajdzic.
Links are emerging signifying that Tottenham are keen on signing RB Leipzig’s 20 year old Croatian defender Josko Gvardiol, who is rated at £50 million.
South Coast Big Club right back Valentino Livramento is allegedly a target for Spurs, but they will have to meet the £38 million release clause in his contract to bring him to N17.

- TRANSFER RUMOURS : – The Daily Express reports that Spurs and Woolwich Wanderers are to contest the signing of Torino right sided defender and midfielder, 21 year old Ivory Coast international Wilfried Singo. AC Milan and Juventus are also watching the player.
SS Lazio are said to be in talks with Pierluigi Gollini‘s agent about signing the Spurs goalkeeper, who is on loan from Atalanta.
